Hope you guys don't have any issues getting the stages up!
Which stages are inside/outside?
Mind Melt: outside Isotropic: inside Main Frame: inside Sector 3: outside Door IV: inside Sunset@Noon: ?
Mind Melt, Isotropic, Sector 3, Door IV are outside
Main Frame, S@N are inside
Thanks.
It's supposed to rain Friday night, hopefully it doesn't shut any stages down. There are a couple sets I really wanna see on Isotropic, and of course there's LCD Soundsystem.
Edit: Right now the forecast has a chance of rain for Friday only between ~4-6pm. It's looking good

It's not looking too good right now fam =/ Given the current models, Matthew looks to skirt the entire Florida coast, possibly even a direct landfall. Not sure what they'd do if Miami only suffers through tropical storm force winds. Even though the time-table for the storm to make its closest approach is Thursday, you have to consider that a direct landfall or close landfall would result in some serious damage that could disrupt normal city operations for at least a week. Trying to keep my head up. I've been looking forward to this years III Points all year. It will be a shame if it doesn't work out. Also, I'd imagine a cancellation could seriously hurt III Points financially. For updates on the storm, discussions, and updated model runs, I suggest checking out these sites: Storm2k.org (forum for pro and amateur meteorologists) , tropicaltidbits.com, and spaghettimodels.com.

Weird, everything I'm reading shows the Miami chances are improving for a miss.
Obviously, you should pay attention to what the news and officials are saying since they're the ones that make the call. However, there is a lag when it comes to updates from news sources. For instance, the models trending towards the west was happening all throughout late last night into the morning, yet they officially didn't make the call until 5PM today (cone adjustment that they showed on tv earlier). There are legal and financial reasons for this. They have to be careful what they depict on television, especially if the models are flip-flopping a bit. Thus far, models have continued to depict a more westerly track (closer to us). You may not see that reflected until tomorrow morning on the news, and it certainly will if the models do indeed continue this trend throughout tonight. The keys here is if there's an established trend through multiple model runs. Check out those sites I posted for a more "live" perspective of the storm. Already talks of watches and warning probably going up tomorrow.
Yup tonights reports are pushing it more west. Still looks like the eye will skirt Miami, but the outlying bands and winds are probably going to fuck with my flight in Thursday night

Hey Inforoo peoples. I'm fairly new to living in the South Florida area, but I did have a friend I was planning on going with to III Points who had to bail quasi-last minute. So if there's any sort of Inforoo meetup, I'd be very much up for it.
Really hoping Matthew doesn't make a total mess of things. Which it has a decent chance of doing....yikes.
I swear to god, I'm gonna freak the fuck out if III points gets cancelled because of this god damn storm. I already had Levitation cancelled on me because of that storm and now this keeps looking worse and worse

"Everyone who knows me knows how hard my team and I have been working on III Points and especially this year's edition of the festival....its a hard pill to swallow when you see a huge fucking storm heading right towards your grounds during the one weekend out of the year we been planning our life's work around but .... THE SHOW WILL GO ON IF and only IF Hurricane Matthew touches Florida this weekend...Rest assured, III Points is going to throw the most badass hurricane party in history. Additionally, we are blessed that our festival grounds at Mana Wynwood houses over 150k square feet of indoor safe space, as well as generators to ride out any power outages. We have back up plans to our back up plans and we are all systems go if we need to move things indoor We are currently tracking every turn of Hurricane Matthew and we are keeping the safety of our crew and our patrons as the top priority. We guarantee that our festival will be comfortable, safe and most importantly an incredible fucking party."

Huh? This makes no sense.
Read, son. "IF and only IF Hurricane Matthew touches Florida this weekend...Rest assured, III Points is going to throw the most badass hurricane party in history."
He's saying that if Matthew touches Florida, III Points will be "the most badass hurricane party in history."

Ah, I was putting THE SHOW WILL GO ON at the beginning of that sentence, which made it seem like the show will only go on IF Hurricane Matthew touches Florida, lol.

Ah, I was putting THE SHOW WILL GO ON at the beginning of that sentence, which made it seem like the show will only go on IF Hurricane Matthew touches Floriday, lol.
This is exactly what I did. I had to reread the sentence a couple of times before I realized what he meant.
