Yes I am - but I thought that, by saying that one of these rappers would be the highest billed, they were implying that all 3 would be on the same spot/area of the lineup if they were to be booked.
I wanna add though, I just saw the lineup for The Meadows fest. Chance is above Kygo, whose 6 on ACL's lineup. I guess he's actually top 5 material regardless of his Roo involvement. I suppose he'll likely get the #4 spot like Kendrick and J. Cole did.
To counter this, Chance is billed 12th at Outside Lands. Honestly, I think acts like Kygo and The Chainsmokers are way overbilled on ACL's lineup. Neither of those should be receiving a top 10 billing in 2016.
I agree with this. But, at the same time, Chance was booked for Outside Lands a while back/pre Chance 3. He's definitely a bigger name now. Give him another 6 months he could grow more. I guess we'll see.

What do you mean book "Day of the Dead"? Like a Dessner brothers & friends deal where they play some of the Day of the Dead covers? Or a superjam? Day of the Dead involved a quack ton of people so idk how it would work.

They're playing a set at Eaux Claires as Day of The Dead. I'm assuming it will be similar to a super jam type of thing since a lot of the bands on the album are playing the fest.

I think Juggs has pointed this out in a few places but I think since Eaux Claires is curated by Dessner it makes sense that he'd work to book as many of the contributors at that fest. Might be a bit harder later on to coordinate enough but I'd love a "Day of the Dead" superjam type thing with a number of the acts.

Damn. Yeah honestly I think Roo blew it on that. This would've been the year to do it - could've been awesome too. Doing it next year would just seem way too late.

So you guys wanted Day of the Dead AND The Dead at the same festival? I can't imagine how upside down people on here would have been.
It's honestly more that this year would've just made more sense. Next year would be kind of stale + having it this year likely could've meant Bobby being involved in it (especially since he apparently helped a lot with the project).
Honestly, the Eaux Claire's set is probably gonna be a hell of a set - but it also probably won't be replicable. Oh well.

I'm almost ready to accept that Depeche Mode will never happen.
almost.
My wife is a huge Depeche Mode fan, and she would flip out at their booking.
At her baby shower this weekend, one of her friends gave her a CD of Depeche Mode songs in lullaby form. I haven't listened to it yet, but I am pumped to hear it.

I just can't see Bonnaroo booking them at this point. Maybe they could do a LN Which like Nine Inch Nails in 2009? That still seems too small for them though.
it's more that in the past, Bonnaroo would have been the fest to book that kind of set. With Eaux Claire's existing they never really had a chance.
To be fair to Bonnaroo, I don't know that a Day of the Dead set would ever have existed without Eaux Claires. Too many moving parts. This isn't an act they missed out on any more than they missed out on the Superjam that took place at Okeechobee or whatever.
Yeah in no way did they "blow it" by not getting that set. Aaron Dessner has no attachment to Bonnaroo, and very few of the artists on the album were booked for the fest. It's a one-off set at a festival curated by the curator of the album where it probably worked out that a lot of the artists he had record songs for the album were also artists he managed to book for the festival. I get that this year's lineup was pretty damn bad but sometimes you guys are just a touch over-critical of Bonnaroo
