Would Fleetwood Mac be the first name on the poster? I think they'd be third at best since they already did the comeback, but I don't know.
This is silly. The only comeback they did was Christine McVie coming back into the band, otherwise they've been touring for all of the 21st century. They kill live and there's 0 question they'd be a headliner and almost definitely #1. Fleetwood Mac are huge. They're my second choice for a classic headliner after Roger Waters, but I also don't think next year is the year from them. I'll keep my fingers crossed for 2018 or 2019, assuming Bonnaroo hasn't fallen apart by then

To be fair, McVie coming back was HUGE.
Yes, and I'm still a little bummed I saw them on the tour right before she came back. They were a fantastic show but I need to hear some "You Make Loving Fun," "Songbird" and "Say You Love Me."
Although I need to hear some "Money," "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Pigs" even more

has there been any actual word on the gorrilaz situation? can we actually expect them to tour next summer? or would me putting them in a mock poster be dumb

Are the gorrilaz a realistic get? Legitimately asking.
Whatever chances there were. I think they went up when Albarn played Roo in '14 and seemed like he was having a positive festival experience. He even mentioned a little something at the show about how America brings out the Gorrilaz side of his song writing and that he would be doing new gorrilaz stuff. I sure hope he remembers how awesome Roo was when scheduling the next tour.

Yeah, it will really come down to the timing. I think he would be totally open to headline Roo IF they're on the road in America at the time. Roo booking LCD this year shows that they're willing to book an underdog for a headliner spot. If they're touring next summer, I feel that they'll play at least one of the major fests (Lolla, Roo, etc.) and I feel Roo is the most likely choice because the other big fests are in/around big cities, where the Gorillaz would be playing their own show anyway.
If we get Arcade Fire and Gorillaz next year, it's most likely that I'll be returning after this year's hiatus
Radiohead - Neil Young - Justin Timberlake Beck(pre-HL) - Justice(LN) - Chance the Rapper(pre-HL) - Ryan Adams(pre-HL) - Prophets of Rage(LN) - The Lumineers(which closer) - Miike Snow(which closer) - Walk the Moon(which closer) -
Other guesses for HL: Arcade Fire or Gorillaz instead of Radiohead Eric Clapton or Roger Waters instead of Neil Young Drake instead of JT DMB or ZBB possible as well(likely in place of either Young or JT in 2/3 spot)
And Justice prob will never happen so insert Jack U or Pretty Lights.
Don't want to see Lumineers or Walk the Moon, but it gives them top 40 acts for the top few lines

I think Roger Waters - Arcade Fire/Radiohead - Gorillaz would be a dream for me. I really wanna see The Avalanches on there too.
I feel like the music that we're already seeing being cranked out this year is a good sign for all festivals. James Blake, Chance, Young the Giant, Local Natives. Just hoping Roo can capitalize.
Bonnaroo '15/'16/'17/'18/'19 - ACL '13/'14/'15/'17/'18 - Fun Fun Fun '14 - SXSW '13/'14/'15 - FPSF '16
2019 Shows: 4/30 - Vampire Weekend 6/28 - Father John Misty & Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit 9/6 - Cardi B w/ Teyana Taylor 9/28 - Vulfpeck w/ The Fearless Flyers

Would the Kinks even headline? I get that a Kinks reunion would be a huge deal, but I feel like they would be a better fit in the Beach Boys spot or the Buffalo Springfield spot.

I know they would headline Coachella, and while Bonnaroo and Coachella differ in many ways, I think the money that a kinks reunion would demand would force them into the top 3.

James Blake LN would be incredible. That with even one HL I care about might be enough to convince me

Lol, I feel like Buffalo Springsteen is a clever name for a band the does covers of Buffalo Springfield and Bruce Springsteen
