Job Description - HUKA Entertainment is searching for an experienced Marketing Director to lead the organization’s marketing, digital, partnership, and branding efforts for national music festivals and concerts. The ideal candidate will have both spent time in the concert promotion business and managed digital marketing efforts in the music industry. The position is preferably based in New Orleans, but location is flexible (with mandatory travel to New Orleans). Responsibilities include:
Creating and managing execution of strategic marketing plans for music festivals, concerts, and other live events. Managing all branding efforts both for HUKA Entertainment and its music festivals/events. Directing a digitally focused marketing team that thinks differently about meeting objectives and promoting events. Developing partnership opportunities and managing those relationships. Negotiating deals with consultants, media partners, and vendors. Developing and overseeing customer (fan) acquisition strategies (email, social, ticket buyers, etc.). Developing all external communications in conjunction with public relations firms. Managing day-to-day activity with PR and marketing agencies. Managing video content production to be used for online, social and traditional media. Collaborating with festival producers during new event evaluation and development process. Development and implementation of on site festival plans for media/PR operations and oversight of marketing department staff. Planning and administering the company’s Marketing Operations budget. Interacting with artists, managers, agents, and other industry contacts. Desired Skills & Experience
A love of music. All styles. Plus knowledge of both current industry trends and past history. Exceptional experience with and knowledge of marketing strategies, trends, concepts and best practices. BS/BA in Marketing or related field. Minimum 8 years marketing experience in live entertainment (preferably the concert industry). 2 years experience at director level or 5 years experiences at marketing manager. Proven history/track record of effectively managing teams. Proven history/track record of effectively working remotely, if not able to base at company HQ in New Orleans Experience with digital media (mobile, social, email, web), online advertising, content creation, and analytics. Experience with effective traditional (radio, print, TV, Outdoor, street team) advertising campaign planning and execution. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution. Proven ability develop and deliver presentations, including summary recap reports. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, fast-paced environment. Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach.

HUKA Entertainment- New Orleans-based event production and promotion company is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our expanding team in the role of Sponsorship Coordinator.
Job Description: As a member of the sponsorship department, the Sponsorship Coordinator will coordinate the successful implementation of sponsorship programs for sponsors & partners at HUKA Entertainment events. The Sponsorship Coordinator will oversee execution of sponsorship contract deliverables (including on-site brand activations), will manage day-to-day communication with assigned clients and internal team members and help to prospect and pitch new clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the sponsorship department Oversee day-to-day communication and collaboration with assigned clients and partners Aid in the execution of sponsor contract deliverables, including: advertising & marketing, on-site activation, retail programs, signage & logo placement Manage the collection, storage and distribution of sponsor assets Oversee creation of required sponsor collateral and the incorporation of sponsor assets into festival materials, when appropriate Prepare and deliver reports Identify, track and confirm required information for sponsors and partners Help conceptualize and construct sponsorship proposals and pitches based on client goals and objectives.
