Considering the actual source of the rumor is a member of this board who has posted openly about it, I'd imagine that if the LCD thing turns out to be false, it'd be him that takes the hit. I mean, my credibility isn't really on the line here, since it's not my info, but whatever. Also, it's funny how at first you didn't seem to even know who the supposed headliner is, yet then you have specific information which you claim disproves exactly this rumor. That's quite the coincidence.

Re: coincidence -- I got an email from someone who reads this board regularly that said a couple people were claiming to know one of the Coachella headliners and that it was possibly LCD or Iron Maiden. I posted attempting to pin the supposed insiders down to a definitive answer before I contradicted LCD.

I just happen to have a professional relationship with a relative of a band member, who confirmed that skepticism was correct.
And of course things to tend to fall through or change, and I have been wrong on occasion. So maybe they will play and relative just wasn't in the loop.
