Got my ticket for New Years. Seeing Deer Tick (surprise!) at Brooklyn Bowl. Going alone since I couldn't convince any friend's to go (or they have girlfriends/boyfriends to hang with who wouldn't want to do it). Still should be awesome.

Excellent, i'm interested in how the fan selection will go. I wonder if they'll just have people post requests online or have some sort of ballot and top votes get picked.

I have lurked (and lurked hard) for over five years on this board, but this is too good not to join in, and not to give credit where credit's due.. You guys are doing the Rock God's work here, listing all the New Years Eve shows.. Nowhere else on the internet can you find this, at least that I've seen.
San Francisco is getting a major shot in the arm today in terms of NYE:

I had already decided that Pretty Lights was my dream NYE show for this year, was just waiting for the annoucement.. feeling kind of crushed because I live on the other side of the country, feeling kind of hopeful that I might just decide to make it happen, whatever it takes. Here's to hope you all get your dream NYE shows, or at least ones that are totally excellent!

The support for the NYE show is pretty ridiculous, I hope you can make it somehow. I'm just hoping I can afford a damn hotel in New York so I can see my friends.
