It is new. Will likely be near the entrance to Centeroo. Someone in the experience thread mentioned they used to do in years past but was more of background music. Pretty cool. This sounds like live DJ playing. The DJ thing is new, the public wifi in courtyard is new, the charging station changed its verbiage to be more "charge while you dance" then "charge while you watch your shiz" .. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Out of all the changes way stoked about the DJ. Should lighten up the VIP camp too.
In the map 2014 thread you can also see the speculation because there is a new orange tent in VIP that used to not be on the map. Can't make out what it is.
Oh and the comedy expressly writing that out is new. Last year you could get VIP service at comedy tent with a ticket but it was never written or announced. Was either word of mouth or you were there and got lucky.

Although I have only been going to bonnaroo for a year now. I'm impressed. It defiantly seems like bonnaroo tries to listen to us and make changes to help our experience. Obviously there are a bunch more ideas people have to improve bonnaroo but heck at least it seems they are trying. Now for the sound bleed at which, the poop ditch, and the sulfur smelling water.

I'm with ya! All the VIP upgrades, posting the whole menu for the festival (probably my favorite upgrade this year), Skrillex's Super Jam holy quack, used to just get wristbands, then we got bandanna, this year we got lunchboxes too!.. BLAM this year was really well done in my opinion. All these new activities like Baconland, Kallidiscope, Pods, better yoga/meditation schedules, the noticeably amped up green initiative this year (Everyone use sustainable containers!) Just nothing but good things about Roo!!!!
Edit: And my personal hope for the one thing i really want them to fix this year is the VIP Thursday party. Yes the free beer goes without a hiccup but last year's food was a total cluster ffk.

Awesome! We bought our tickets in November and there wasn't a detailed listing then. I guess I figured it would have been included in mail package. I'm definitely excited about all these extras and can't wait to celebrate our Roo anniversary!
