Hello,
1st we want to thank all of you that contribute to this board - it made our 1st trip to the farm an amazing experience. Have to admit that once we arrived & got set up, we had a 4 day bout of ADHD as there is just sooo much to do & see. We have a few questions we wish we had stopped and asked while we were there - that we hope to get answered now:
Our VIP camp site barely fit our minivan and 10x12 tent. Does anyone know what the dimensions were supposed to be?
If we were to come with another couple, but carpooled together, would we get 2 sites? Or do we need to be ungreen & bring 2 cars?
Was the hill the only vip viewing area for the main stage?
How early do you need to actually get into the comedy tent? (tried twice, but never actually made it inside)
We saw the area with the rental RV's, but where was the VIP RV area for those that brought their own?
Did anyone that paid the $30 a day for the VIP food option feel that it was worth the expense?
When we were run off the hill for the Petty show, we went ahead and headed out.....how long did it take to get out of VIP for those that left Monday morning?

What did that cost & what was included? I finally found a link to this on their web. Last year was $750 (2 cots), $850 (4 cots), $1500 (queen bed, linen, table, chairs & lantern) $1555 (2 double beds, linen, table, chairs & lantern) plus $300 damage deposit for any of the options.
How did they hold up in the rain storm?
It looked like they had you parking a ways from the tents.....how big of a pain in the ass was that? How did you secure your stuff?
2 If we were to come with another couple, but carpooled together, would we get 2 sites? Or do we need to be ungreen & bring 2 cars? I'd say if you have two parking passes, you can get two sites. They'd probably be cool with that.

4 How early do you need to actually get into the comedy tent? (tried twice, but never actually made it inside) Line up for tickets prior as early as you can, then you know if you have a ticket that you'll get in later. But yeah, way early.
5 We saw the area with the rental RV's, but where was the VIP RV area for those that brought their own? Kinda behind and toward the back gate
6 Did anyone that paid the $30 a day for the VIP food option feel that it was worth the expense? Wasn't before, can't imagine it was better this year. Place looked like a ghost town.

(The trick is to leave before 10am as the back gate closes sometime between 10-11am.) In fact the only reason it probably took me 10 minutes is it was raining and storming balls.

Big acts you can get tickets in the AM. With VIP if a act isnt full they may let you right in. We decided it was not worth it. Too much good food for a decent price in center and we did not like missing shows for food. I'm not one of the guys you see falling down drunk, making an ass of themselves, or passed out in piss pants at the back of the what stage field. However, it's vacation and when I'm on vacation I keep a beer in my hand the whole time which means at the end of a Bonnaroo day/night it's not unreasonable for me to be 20 deep. Typically, along with the two cases (cubes) of beer I bring, I spend roughly a $250 minimum on beer inside Centeroo throughout the festival.
What types of perks does VIP have on complimentary/discounted beers inside Centeroo and the VIP campgrounds? The other perks aren't that big of a deal for me, but, would be nice. So I'm thinking if I cut down the cost spent on booze in Centeroo I could maybe justify going VIP and sell it to the other drunks I go with.
None. Other than the fact that you may find a shorter beer line in the VIP areas.

It easier to walk into Centeroo with a camelback full of unopened beers and its quicker to walk back to camp to refill when you need to from VIP. Not an obvious perks, but holds some monetary value in my eyes.

I had totally forgotten about this perk of VIP!! I plan to fully take advantage of it this time. I think last time I went VIP I didn't realize it until the weekend was almost over. You can also have my share of beer at the party.

I am super frugal with most things, but why work if you can't spend your money on stuff you enjoy? I still have a hard time spending this much on VIP, but I did enjoy some of the perks last time and want to be with my friends, so it is totally worth the extra for that.

Hey anyone know/notice when VIP onsite RVs sold out last year? I'm not confident I'll have my act together on the day things go on sale to be able to get an RV too quickly (whether I'm the one organizing or someone else). But I'm a little worried about them selling out. Anyone have any insight? What's the latest anyone's reserved an onsite RV?

I wouldn't hold me to this, but it seems like I was still debating the purchase of the RV around the first of May because they were still available... perhaps it was mid-May when the option was officially off the table? Or first of May. ? Hopefully someone else can chime in with a clearer response.

No discounts. You can get creative and bring your own stuff in, like in a camelbak. Mine never got sniffed last year but i know some people had their dumped out and/or sniffed before. With the beer prices in centeroo it'd take me $100 to get drunk...

We didn't have 2 cars in 2013 so I don't know if it changed, but I doubt it. Also there are usually tons and tons of VIP spaces usually left empty in the back. Honestly you could probably move that first night and unpack in 3 or 4 spots.

I believe that campsites are dolled out by parking passes as opposed to cars. So if you have two parking passes, you can have two spots. That being said, they fill rows longways (ie they fill one side of the row, then the other), as opposed to GA where they fill them shortways (ie the car in front of you is on the opposite side of the row), so plan for that when considering your camp site.
