Set List and review of Columbus OH show, 4/29. Attire: A large percentage elegantly dressed, quite a few costumes (thought I was in a scene of Eye's Wide Shut a couple times). Show: Apparently they are blocking off the upper deck in most if not all arenas on this tour. My initial thought last night was that the performance was better than the Cleveland show, with the (unexpected) exception that the CLE crowd brought the party. After a 2+ hour drive home in a downpour to reflekt, I think the Cleveland performance was slightly better, and that relates directly to the crowd energy feeding the band. Joan of Arc and Here Comes the Night Time have cemented themselves as my favorite live numbers on Reflecktor. As after CLE, if you have a chance, get your arse to a show on this tour!

Ok, scratch that. We've decided to dress up as Druid and JHo.
Personally, I went calm in a sport coat, tie, jeans, and my Carpe DM's, but the females in the crowd covered the entire spectrum from wedding dresses (and being in Ohio, bridesmaids dresses that might have fit 4-6 sizes ago), a hefty dose of Gatsby Girls (great look), Jackie Kennedy girls with their Pillbox Hats, cocktail dresses, a handful of "oh wait, this is my song, have to get on the main stage" skin tight numbers, and quite a few costumes.

They killed it in Nashville! It was not packed, but for the most part the crowd was pretty good. Many people where dressed up. Plus we got Crown of Love !

The Atlanta show ruled last night. They have definitely turned it up a notch played like absolute headliners. I had pit for this show and pit at their Bonnaroo set, and I think this show blew their Roo show away. Neighborhood #3 is a freakin beast. I was worried we weren't going to get Intervention becasue of the previous set list, and I was so happy when I heard them start into. They teased us with My Body is Cage, which I got all excited about, but then cut it off and went into their out take song, Get Right. It got me a little bummed not being able to hear the full song just for this little boring blues number. Those thoughts quickly went away because they built Get Right into a scorcher. I kept meaning to post my local song guesses in Inforoo before the show, but they were Hey Ya, something from REM, and Black Lips Bad Kids. We ended up with a slowed version of Hey Ya and then a great sing along of Radio Free Europe. Yes!. I actually just got in from out of town and never made to the thrift store for the proper attire, so I went with the Outkast shirt I bought the show last weekend. After He Ya, when Win thanked Atlanta for Outkast, I felt a iittle vindicated for my choice. I'm not ready to say this was the best show I've seen this year becasue I've seen some good ones (Darkside, Deerhunter, Outkast), but this was right there with them.

Getting ready for an entire weekend of Arcade Fire Super excited. Hoping they mix up the setlists and play at least one fun surprise cover.
Going to both Friday and Saturday shows at The Forum this weekend AND scored a ticket to the afterparty on Saturday with Phi Slamma Jamma and DJ Windows 98.

Looking at some Stubhub tickets for Barclay's Center night 2. Plenty of seats in the nosebleeds under $30. Might have to do that even if I can't find anyone who wants to go.

I love when they save "Power Out" for the end like that. It's such a strong song, and I prefer it right there as opposed to at the beginning as they have been doing.
We figured we might as well get some use out of them!
