So there are 5 of us camping together. We have 3 parking passes but only taking 2 cars, since we have an extra parking pass, I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out this predicament. Can we take up 3 camp/parking spots since we have 3 parking passes but only 2 cars?? I would assume that a parking pass equals a camp/parking spot...right??
If you do not have a 3rd vehicle they will not give you the 3rd spot even if you have the pass. I have confirmed with Bonnaroo 2 years back thru a roundabout way. I can forward you the email from them if you like.
We had this issue two years back where our friend who did the single VIP ticket via the upgrade did not have a parking pass but needed his own space to camp. Our final solution was buying a extra VIP parking pass another inforoorer didn't need. We found out thru a friend who does VIP parking as a volunteer each year that even though we had the pass we wouldn't get the space without a car. We emailed Bonnaroo back and forth a few times and the final answer was that a car is required to get a spot with a pass. Motorcycle and VIP walk-ins/shuttles are set up around the fence perimeter and not mixed with the tent/car camping in VIP.
Of course this may have changed since then so you might want to email Bonnaroo with your specific situation to be sure. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah I'm thinking I'm going to email them. But I remember in 2011, when we camped this Gus 2 spots down from us, just walked in and he had his own camping spot. I guess it depends on who's directing the traffic but I will email them to ask.

Thanks for getting in touch. You will be given space only for each vehicle that you bring, an extra vehicle pass does not equal an extra camping spot. However, VIP camping spaces are significantly larger than GA spaces and you should have plenty of room to set up for 5 people with 2 cars. If you have any questions about what might fit in your space, feel free to write back and let us know what you are trying to set up!
So basically I should look to sell this parking pass or I can try to bring it and just convince the people who are directing traffic to give us a spot....lol
Last year we had two parking spaces and one car (four of us came down in one vehicle), they gave us both camping spaces no questions asked. We had confirmed this would be the case beforehand as well.
