I got a coleman double burner propane stove. It uses the small green cans of propane and it works awesome. The flame is very powerful. I would definitely recommend propane so you don't completely smoke out your campsite and your neighbors with all the charcoal smoke.
Another plus with propane is that you turn it on and cook, then turn it off when your done. Charcoal needs like 30 minutes to get going then you have to put it out and your left with an ashy charcoally mess to dump somewhere. A small 2 burner stove is the way to go, or a small propane grill. Either way.
You can have up to a 40lb bag of charcoal per car load/grill.
Just depends on the effort you want to put forth in my opinion. Bringing marinated steaks down and want to cook them at lunch and have time maybe bring a charcoal. I have debated long and hard on this and I'm going with propane. But if i was in a larger group. I'd 100% bring charcoal and grill it up.

I'm bringing a small propane stove, but really I plan on doing minimal cooking as I just camped for Hangout fest and made it through by eating sandwiches and other snack food that doesn't need to be cooked...I plan on bringing snacks like Clif and granola bars and crackers into Centeroo and trying to make it the whole day off those as thats pretty much what I did for Hangout..I know not everyone is like me and is ok with basically starving for a whole weekend in return for seeing more music!

Ya i was originally planning on cooking a lot more. Then i start seeing things like this in other threads. And Im planning on doing some hot breakfast stuff/coffee. But after that prolly done cookin

each morning I made egg and chorizo breakfast burritos cooked on a gas stove. I also cooked Hot dogs on it in the afternoon or evenings but usually ate dinner in Centeroo. I plan to do the same this year. No steaks for me.
