It was incredible. It wasn’t a high energy crowd for most of the show (or at least around me) but as people began to recognize Geddy you could feel the energy shift. People went wild.

in searching for a specific meme i came across this picture of chevy chase.
maybe he's not "awesome" but this is an awesome picture, and there isn't a thread for "awesome pictures of people that maybe at one point we thought were awesome but then got addicted to pain pills and were overly aggressive with joel mchale and opined about how it's not fair he can't use racial slurs"
I was listening to Piano Man on my way into work, and I thought about "if that stands for 'What would Billy Joel do?' I'll tell you right now, he'd write another crappy song", and decided, I still think he's awesome, so I'll take this as some kind of destiny.
