I've got a 6 man tent that I believe has an 11x11 footprint. I was also planning on brining a canopy for some afternoon shade, although im not sure we'll be spending much of the daylight hours at the camp its nice to have to option. I would assume that there will be much larger set-ups around the grounds but I wanted to be sure that there isnt strict spacing limits. Cant find anything about the dimensions of camp anywhere, is it just a mad land grab?
I rolled in with Camp Inforoo last year and we took the time to park our vehicles parallel out at the end of each site and it gave ous a ton of room. Here's a picture

What is your tarp hooked to on the side the picture is taken where the camera man is standing? I see it over the EZ Up but only looks like one. Just curious

The tarp was zip tied to another 10x10 easy-up. I met inforoo folks who had no shade so we pulled into the back to back VIP spots. Had 2 10x10 easy ups with an 8' tarp hooked in between and our tents at the end of each space with another tarp staked out at an angle to provide more shade. gave us a huge lounging area that other that didn't have shade came and hung out in. But as to the original question of how big the space is-- If you look at the lower center of the picture you can see some white paint. That is the beggining of my spot back to my suv behind the tent.
last years spot was just shy of 15' x 30'. Parking guys have gotten stricter about having all of you car in your spot though. We pulled our car (Mazda 3 hatch) longways inside the 15' end and still had 15' x 25' to work with for camp space.

Camp inforoo was next to us, we were on the end with the steve buscemi flag. A couple notes from two pairs of 2: After the parking attendant has moved on, coordinate with your neighbors or bonnabuddies to re-organize your cars. Since we had the end we made an L shape on the very corner of the two lots. After doing this we had space for two tents, two ez-ups and still had space left over. If you're going as a single pair of two, you wont be hard up but you'd probably be best to coordinate with others be that inforoo, friends or inforoofriends.
I couldn't agree more with edd. We coordinated last year with our neighbors to maximize our space, and it made all the difference. I've found that most everyone in VIP is friendly, which always helps.
