Been listening to them on YouTube. They sound great. Everything sounds spot on except the vocals. The vocals aren't bad by any means, he just doesn't sound like Robert Plant like the singer from ZoSo does. Seems to be mostly instrumental anyway. They don't sing most of the parts. Either way it's going to be an awesome jam session. Better than Unchained at least.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Unchained. I walked by their set on the way back to camp and they sounded better than Van Halen when I saw them a couple years ago.

Cover band jam session...Sweet! I'm crossing my fingers it's late night!

Like it wont be late night probably but you cant compare a Van Halen cover band with zero legitimate artists to a group of fairly well known musicians in a Led Zeppelin cover band. The musicianship here is 100x better than in Unchained and the music of Led Zeppelin is 1000x better than the music of Van Halen. I probably wont go see this but it's no embarrassment
Do we really think that they would put another classic rock cover band in a late night tent closing spot? Would they really, after all of the embarrassing backlash, pull that crap again? I mean, I thought they took the hint.
I mean... at first there was a little bit of a crowd. People thinking that it may have been a joke or a cover up for a secret show that people actually wanted to see. When they found out that what they were getting really was a Van Halen cover band, they started to leave, save about 100 people. Apparently the next day when many, many people asked the organizers, in person, why they decided to place them in that spot, they were given the impression that the organizers realized that it was a bad decision.

So I've recently fallen in love with a little band called wild child there a indie folk band from texas and I think they would be a perfect addition for a small tent.

I think this could be another super jam type show. Capps did mention in some interview that they were trying to get a couple more this year (besides just the soul superjam and blue grass) and the musicians are all superjam friendly.
Benevento/Russo duo (anchored a superjam at roo Trey, Mike, and Phil Lesh), Scott Metzger who has played with Ween, Gov't Mule, Stanton Moore trio, and Dave Driewitz from Ween. And listening to some of their stuff on myspace, they sound like they use LZ as a framework for some jams, not really "covering" the song.
To me this is head and shoulders above something like unchained, and could lend itself to an interesting superjam (although not nearly as awesome as ?uestlove, Ben Hrper and JPJ)

Dude....you have no idea what you're talking about here. Unchained is an old-guy cover band that just covers songs not a ton of people wanted.
Bustle in your Hedgerow is a group of extremely talented musicians who are succesful in their own projects who came together to put on shows where they play instrumental versions of the Zeppelin tunes and they f*cking kill it. They are awesome live and this show would be an amazing tent show. If it's late night...even better. I could see this being a Thursday late show but even if it gets one of the slots for a tent they'd likely share it with another act and it would be leaps and bounds better than unchained.
These two acts do not compare. This isn't "crap". This is a great addition for any fans of Benevento/Russo Duo and/or Led Zeppelin.
The people sh*tting on this act (Bustle in your Hedgerow) need to educate themselves on the group. This is NOT Unchained again. Totally different. These guys are extremely talented and put a new spin on the Zeppelin tunes. They will rock Zeppelin songs much harder than Robert Plant will if he was at Roo doing a solo set.
Please....everyone do yourself a favor and don't jump to conclusions. This act will be amazing and comparing them to Unchained is completely wrong and ignorant. Unchained do not deserve to play festivals. Bustle in your Hedgerow is a great act to have at a festival.
Seriously....this will be a great show. Trust me on this.

I think someone got a bustle in their hedgerow this morning.
The last thing bonnaroo needs is another cover band.
Oh please....everyone's going nuts about Jim James superjam and what songs he is going to cover. Good cover bands can be fun at festivals. Unchained was a mistake and should not have ever been given that spot. This band is fantastic and will be a great show.

I come in here and see people acting like this is a problem and that this is 2013's version of "Unchained" when they couldn't be further from the truth. It's not often I come on here and just tell people they are wrong.....but anyone who thinks this is on the same level as Unchained are crazy wrong. These guys are awesome...seen them live and always put on a fantastic show. The only similarity is both bands cover more famous musicians. Bustle in your Hedgerow will be amazing.
