The lineup and ticket prices for Moogfest 2012 was announced today - and there are some people who really want to go. However, some personal issues and turmoils are holding them back from going. There are some people who just deserve good vibes and some love from the Inforoo community. This is the reason behind KarmaMoog. (I think I need a better name for this, but just picture Qsaroo for Moogfest.)
Originally this concept was developed for Kara (Maemae), our probable rookie of the year 2011-12 and happy dance champion. However, $100 tickets and several other amazing people deserve a chance on this as well. If everyone on Inforoo going to Moog chips in a few bucks, it shouldn't be too hard to reach the goal.
In the spirit of Inforoo: however much they get, they have to pay it forward (aka, make a donation in the same amount to Qsaroo) by Mayday 2013. If you get helped to go to Moog, they help someone else go to Roo next year.

After reading a few posts in the GRRRR thread a few weeks ago, Maemae came into mind. Wanting to go to Moog, saving up money for a ticket and the trip - but then work and car troubles came along among other stuff I can't recall right now. Def. a worthy candidate. Help her get to Asheville now, and let her get more time to afford it and save up. Help others after others helped her out.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
This is just the proposal for the idea. Obv we don't know how much tickets cost, or how many people are willing to help out.
Maybe in a few days I'll get info up on how to donate. I'm not sure how Qsaroo does it. Originally my idea was: I can just pick up another ticket when I buy mine. Take cash at Forecastle/NFF or Paypal. Keep a small log for transparency. That sound good or is there a better idea?
If we get enough $, should we do similar for a second person?

Wait- how have I not seen this thread! Oh my gosh you guys! You're gonna make me cry, you're all sooo sweet, and way too kind.. I'm working my butt off to get the money! Hopefully these extra hours at work can make this trip happen. ;D

That's entirely fine, I was definitely going to chip in. My finances aren't in the best shape right now, and Heather is trying to get me to budget now (oh boy...), but I can do a little bit.
I just didn't want anyone taking an overwhelming chunk of the costs, rather have a bunch of people do like 5 or 10. Especially if only 1-2 people get tickets. But I have no idea how big this can be. Inforoosters are a pretty generous type.
