Sorry if this has been asked every year but I really need some advice on the best way to handle this.
My partner and I are going VIP and my brother and his friend are going GA. What's the best way to handle this situation? Has anyone just dropped people off along 24 to walk to the entrance? My bro is set on tent-only this year. And I know that we can't get in until Thursday. Do they really turn the cars away if not everyone inside is VIP? Don't they just kick the others out? Or is there another entrance in close proximity to VIP that I can just dump my brother near along the way?
Thanks so much, I really don't know what to do about this little conundrum!

Honestly? Rent a car when you get to Tennessee and drive in separately. Or drop the GA'ers off after you've bypassed all of the traffic, which is a HUGE part of the VIP experience. Have them hoof it to tent only camping. Seriously though, you are going to be a lot better off in two different cars.
Yep, only those with VIP wristbands will be allowed in VIP. You could always play dumb like you didn't realize... The worst that can happen is they have to schlep their stuff to TO from VIP. It's a short distance, so that's not too big a deal.
I have the same question but the opposite. Just got a free upgrade to VIP but want to camp in TO with everyone else still. Traffic isn't a big deal to me and the camping is kind of the same. Just want to use it for the amenities. Can a VIP wristband enter through the GA tollbooths?

Why not bypass all the traffic with the VIP tollbooth then hoof it to T.O?
