Fawnmart and I are going to see them at a private show in Prov next Saturday. Looking forward to it. I'm hoping that we can catch them at Roo with no conflicts. I like what I've heard besides Junk of the Heart. Which is good too.
The Kooks played three songs for us at the private performance. There were less than 50 people and we all sat around in comfy chairs. Really cool and as you can see I was close enough to help tune the guitars. All really nice personable guys. We told them that we'd see them at Roo.
Yes very personable. Those that know me might find it hard to believe that I was sitting at the end of the bar when the Kooks walked in . They all stopped and said hello and shook hands.
Upstairs we were allowed to take all of the no-flash pics that we wanted and they okayed the video's as well.
Here's the entire audience. It was really cool that Quacker won this through a local radio station.
We suggested they make sure they have time to wander around Roo, meet some folks, and indulge in some of the local offerings. They were most interested in that idea! ;D
I remember discovering Niave via Pandora years ago and have loved that track since. Need to dive into their catalog. But I'll see their show based on Niave alone.
