That pic happened because of pure 'Roo serendipity: a few of us (Roofan, Jess, maybe ODB, and me) headed over to SuperJam and were standing @ the left side (where else?!?) when Bunny, MikeD, PopsicleSarah & sunfox walked up...then a minute later, Daniroo and TremendousButton walked by, followed by Scrog, then Jade, and a few others who weren't in the pic. We hadn't planned to meet up; it just happened...and kept happening!
Within minutes, we'd kicked off our CarpeDMs and were enjoying the show. Then a cool chick comes up to us and asks, "You're all from Inforoo, aren't ya?" We asked how she knew and she just pointed down to her own feet - also clad in CarpeDMs - and said that's how she knew. It was as if the shoes had led her to us! Come to find out, it was LuvaLuva. Some of us were friends w/her on FB but hadn't met her in person yet.
So there we were, a dozen or more Inforoosters, brought together on a Sunday night, by Matt. It was a magical, joyful moment. I cherish this photo for that reason.
