For Bonnaroo this year I've decided to let my inner beast out. I'm going to wear this Wolverine costume for at least one entire day of the festival. My goal is to have at least one complete stranger at Bonnaroo approach me and say that they saw this video. Who Knows?????? That person could be one of your friends on Facebook. Do me a favor and re-post this video.

This band has been one of my most intriguing discoveries since the lineup dropped. Unfortunately, I am sure I will have no chance of seeing them if they end up closing a tent on Sunday.
As usual, the Black Lips were fantastic last night. Complete with Bradford Cox guitar freakout. Riff Raff, on the other hand, was the worst.
holy sh*t Bradford played with them?
And lolwat Riff Raff?
Bradford played "You're Dumb" with them and turned it into a thick, beast of a song that tore and stomped like the heaviest sh*t I've ever heard. A jaw dropper for sure.
I was so excited for this set...and then the schedule came out. 6 albums, 45-minute set. What a fuckin' heartbreaker. And on Which. May not even bother going and get a little better spot for The Beach Boys.
At least their tracks, especially the early ones, are very short. I'll probably still go.

Yeah I mean to be fair a 45 minute set for them will still get you 17-20 songs. So Im not too bummed about that. Its the fact that its on the Which stage in the middle of the day that bothers me. Should at least be in a tent
"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski
Bought Arabia Mountain this weekend based on the comments in this thread- I'll be there with bells on once Gary Clark Jr. gets out. This band has some JAMS, and even catching a half hour should let me hear a good 10 songs.

Fun set. I didn't hear them complain much. Just, "We want to thank you guys for what you're doing to your bodies and your minds."
Oh I had fun, don't get me wrong. A couple of times though, they mentioned how early they were playing and thanked everyone for still coming out.
Yeah, but a lot of bands say that every single year. They're not all pissed. I think its more of them being so grateful and amazed so many people show up for an early show, which 1:45 in the afternoon isn't that early.
Also, this show will forever be known to me as the Great Toilet Paper War of 2012. I can't remember what song it was, but literally for 3 minutes straight toilet paper rolls were being thrown up in the air. It was amazing.
I had a lot of fun at this show. I especially liked the song that will be featured on the soundtrack of the upcoming Bad News Bears 3, starring Tony Danza.

I was in the pit for this show and it was fantastic. Didn't realize I had that much energy left in me after the first three days! This was definitely one of those blissful, unforgettable Bonnaroo moments.
Im trying to figure out if we were attending the same show. Got really sick of them complaining and talking about how they are real rock and roll and how hippy music sucks. Then the plug at the end for the bad news bears 3 made me want to puke
