These "protesters" are causing far more eye-rolling than eye-opening. They're just pissing people off. No one leaves thinking about the message. The result is a lot of people writing off protesters in general

Batty called 911 last night because of a smoking outlet. There was a huge 2 alarm fire a few blocks away from us last week that was electrical (everyone got out safe), so the firefighters were on high alert. Thankfully, they found absolutely nothing of concern. Checked every inch of the building.
Also found out that she went over our landlord’s head and had an inspector come on the property to check for mold. Mold was found in the basement. Fortunately, the inspector said it’s very minimal and easily mitigated. So our landlord is very happily taking care of that. He is VERY pissed off that she did this all behind his back though. I can’t say I blame him.
Anyway, he’s told her that this doesn’t seem to be a very good fit for her and he’ll return her deposit in full if she finds a new living arrangement. She said that she’s already been looking so fingers crossed yall!
Can’t say I’d ever have expected Macon to show up on a list like this.
There’s more than a few head scratchers but I liked Macon, honestly. It’s definitely not some place I’d ever want to live but was nice for a few days.
It just seems like kind of a boring place to visit. If it wasn’t for the weather/humidity, I really wouldn’t mind living here. I just dropped a bunch of money to have our crawlspace encapsulated, though, so I’m particularly annoyed by the humidity right now.
Ultimately, we’d like to move back to Knoxville, but it seems like it is becoming increasingly unaffordable.
