I wonder what happened to Random Thoughts 6... Aversions to the number 6 must be more common than I thought: 6. Is it strange that I count in increments of the number three but really dislike the number six? |

I found it... now, here goes. Last night I was at the Futurebirds set at Bragg Jam in Macon. It was at a really small venue in Macon called the Hummingbird Taproom. I was standing RIGHT in front of the stage thoroughly enjoying myself. The people with me had walked away for a bit, so I was alone but didn't mind. All of a sudden the lead singer leans over, places his forehead on mine and kisses me on the lips. Not a bad thing. It's just that I'm old enough to be his mother and there were several cute young girls nearby, so don't really know why he felt the urge to kiss me, but again, not a bad thing overall. Like my daughter said today, something interesting is always happening to me at shows:) |

Alas, my dear, there isn't much else to the story. A brief introduction at the end of the set and then a parting of the ways. It is probably forgotten to all except myself.
And cougar? that has connotations of something predatory and prowling. Not at all in my character.
I just loved the randomness and surprise of the whole episode. Now, that IS in my character. Total randomness and surprise and wonderful music.
