I scar easily leaving dark discoloration. I wish there were cool stories behind them but they're mostly just touching the oven rack when I shouldn't.
I have a nice scar across my bicep from when the family was out of town and I was stoned and baking stuff. Pulled a cookie sheet out and set it on the stove, but not far enough back. When I reached in to grab the other sheet I caught the edge of the first one with my bicep. My stoned reaction was so slow and I was holding a sheet of cookies, so I got a few seconds of sizzle.
The only scar I have is a small one on my wrist from when I was catsitting for a neighbor while they were on vacation. I decided it was a great idea to give the cat a bunch of catnip then try to play with it and I got myself bitten, and the bite got infected.
I have four scars. One when I was like 8 and my wrist got caught in a rope on monkey bars and I almost lost my hand. The same wrist, that I broke/splintered/shattered 2 years ago and then on the SAME arm from a cookie sheet stuck to my arm.
The last is on my forehead where a got MRSA from a splinter.
I don't usually scar easily, I had second and third degree burns on my arms and chest when I was young, but my mom was a PT in the burn unit and I got lucky.
My biggest scar is on my knee from drunken wrestling in college. It was in the grass, but obviously there was some sort of glass or something hidden somewhere. Ended up with 10 stitches, but I didn't even notice the gushing blood until some stranger pointed it out.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Scars. Shit. I have them everywhere. I was born with a stigmata like scar on my inside right wrist (had one on outside left wrist too but that one dissolved over time. I wasn’t a particularly accident prone kid but I ended up getting stitches a bunch of times in my youth. First was a giant game of hide and seek in the country with at least 20 other kids when I was 6 or 7. I took off running and got clotheslined by a barbed wire fence on the edge of my left lip. I got pushed off my top bunk bed by an older neighborhood girl who split my chin. I caught my forehead on a Volkswagen Beetle bumper trying to reach base. I smacked my chin again on the concrete on the side of a pool. And then when I was about 14, my baby brother who was 3 or 4 walked up to me and said, “and he hits him with a chair” And proceeded to catch me in the back of the head with a thin piece of pressboard that split me open. There are plenty more on my knees and hands from playing games, skateboarding and shit.
The older you get the longer you tend to have scar tissue resolving with clear fluid that repairs the damage.

I’ve got two scars on my back from scoliosis surgery. It’s always been funny to me that the one along my spine is wonderfully done and barely noticeable anymore. The one on my hip where they took bone grafts is just a sloppy thick scar.
Then there’s my arms from years in a kitchen.
And my legs are covered in scars from bug bites because I am completely helpless and HAVE to scratch at them.
Let's see. Colon cancer scar where they cut my gut open to cut out the cancer, colostomy bag scar where I got to shit in a bag for 3 months, breast cancer scar on my boob.
Last night I signed up for a free trial with ancestry.com aaaand it's literally the only thing I've done for the last 24 hours. And I'm almost certain that I've discovered I have a great-great-aunt who's still kicking at 93 and lives in Philadelphia.
Building an extensive family tree is easily one of the coolest projects I've ever embarked upon. I'm really not into history at all but looking at stuff like the draft cards and marriage certificates of people way back up the bloodline is really geeking me out.

My textbook is dedicated to all the authors' wives. Which is sweet, but I don't know if "Controversies in Voting Behavior" is very romantic in any way.

looking through old festival photos and reminiscing, found this one of me with a cochon de lait poboy at jazzfest. two random people walking by behind me were equally excited about the cochon de lait.

I did photoshop contests and other posting on an Eminem/G-Unit/Shady Records forum at stimulate-ltd.com a while ago. Probably some wrestling boards, too.
Head-Fi in 2005. Shortly thereafter became very active at Head-Case, an offshoot of Head-Fi started by a guy with a resentment against the admin at Head-Fi.
BBS world. Ugly Truth [tm] was one my brother started, but I used to be on some other dial-ins back in the day. Terry Cloth Terror (two mild mannered Turkish-American brothers, haha), The Guild aka Assassin's Guild, Da Funky bbs and a bunch of other random local modem-sites. First modem I had was 1,200, and I can recall how much better shit worked going into 2400, 4800, 9600 and 14,400. CGA became EGA became VGA...

I didn't know those two, but I remember maybe early 90's The Point was the one site that had multiple nodes where they could have several dozen people at once on. One of my old gf's was big into that site, but I never went on it. That was kind of the lead in to people just logging into the internet. We never had Compuserve or whatever the fuck the other early one was (AOL?). Remember they'd send you like 3 or 4 disks in the mail every week? I don't remember the first software we used but ended up going to netscape as the main browser. I think our account was with Earthlink. haha

I ran the Z & D Connection from 1992-1994. Once the internet started streaming.
