DMB is in the middle of a 2 year hiatus, so I doubt they'll be there. Granted, they did their own festivals last year during the hiatus, so I guess it's possible that they will do a festival this year while still keeping touring on hold.

I've been hearing rumblings of DMB. I hope it's not true.
it would be a bummer, but just like with John Legend the first year its just one day I get to go back to my house early. those days spent walking up and down the sand can be surprisingly exhausting.
Even though I'm not a Dave fan even I admit he would fit perfectly at hangout.

I wouldn't mind Chili Peppers as my wife loves them and would get her excited about Hangout. I'm surprised at the total lack of rumors we've had this year. Any ideas on when the lineup will drop?
I agree it would be a step down as far as this board's perception (and mine). But, it would certainly sell out and be deemed a success by the organizers.

Yeah, I was thinking of it wrong. Sorry! With the 2011 break, it would be two years without them playing locally (they only play in Hartford during their summer tours)

man that would be a huge let down. better be a stellar undercard. furthermore the undercard better be on stages where I can actually hear the fracking music (***shakes fist angrily at surf style stage for the 100th time this year***)
Paul Simon is hard to top, but I'd take Dave and the Beach Boys over WSP and Foo Fighters. I really hate Anthony Keidis but I like the RHCP music alright. My favorite part of the band quit, but I guess I would be more interested in checking that out than the Foo Fighters.

I wouldn't agree that he's the least talented member, but what does it really matter? Who gives a sh*t what I call it?
If you need to hear me say it, Carter and LeRoi were the most talented musicians in the band. Did I gain my indie cred back?
