yeah unfortunately 38 is just too old to have any fun, except maybe bingo or knitting
it's true, only thing i'd add is you can also watch Jeopardy and afterwards listen to ezra klein podcast as you fall asleep in your recliner at 7:30pm.
I’m 38 and have never been to Vegas. Tool at the Sphere would get me there.
I was in Vegas when I was 11 years old, which was basically like never having been to Vegas back then, before they built rides and attractions appealing to all ages. I spent most of my time there waiting in the hotel lobby next to the casino while my parents were gambling.

If you go to the site, you can see which shows will be on sale with the discount in your area now. The only caveat is that when you select city in the drop down menu, you'll need to select each city in which they have a venue in your area separately. It's not one single drop down menu per metro area. For example, they have separate Boston and Cambridge selections, separate New York and Brooklyn selections, and a whole bunch of SoCal options, so review the drop down menu carefully so that you don't miss anything.

You missed the window for it to be dirt cheap. It's still fun if you have a pulse.
That’s fair. As a whole, I find it mediocre, depressing, and WAY overpriced. I can still have a nice time seeing a couple Cirque shows and finding a nice chair in a quiet casino to work on my crossword puzzles.
manifested this by wearing my The Cure shirt today
I spilled some Skyline Chili on my Bonnaroo T-shirt yesterday, which guarantees that either Walk The Moon, The National, or 98 Degrees will be performing at Bonnaroo 2025.

Stratosphere has no rides that appeal to me whatsoever. I used to love gigacoasters and extreme rides until a return trip to Cedar Point in 22 on edibles. But it makes me nervous watching videos of X-Scream. Like you gotta be fucking kidding me.

I used to love extreme rides and none of them really scared me, including those at Cedar Point. When I rode the Big Shot on the Stratosphere, I wasn't nervous at all while I was in line but when it started, it was much more intense than I expected. I went back to Vegas a year later and a friend who'd never been on it wanted to ride it, so I agreed. That time, the whole time we were in line I was filled with anxiety because I knew what what was coming. It was so much worse. I won't ride that one again.

I've seen videos I would never do any of those Strat rides.
