Why does that music hall in Boston (5k capacity) seem to always get dates on tours that are otherwise arena tours? I'd figure that is a big enough market that any tour that is playing arenas in all other markets could play it there. 

I guess Detroit also got a theater date here but I've specifically noticed it in Boston before

The last time Cyndi Lauper headlined a 3k+ venue in Ohio was 1986. No hate, I like her as an artist and love her as a person, but this tour is dead on arrival. Happy to be proven wrong.

MGM makes sense, I think, for her. Arenas, outside of NYC and LA, seem a bit much. But maybe I'm wrong.

Last time Cyndi Lauper was in Austin she played ACL Live which holds 2,500....

The funny thing is, she probably could sell those arenas out if tickets were $40 and she had guests that people care about. But no, they'll try to charge people $150 for mid seats and the places will be empty.

I think they downgraded in Atlanta from Variety Playhouse to Masquerade.
