There's also probably like 2 people on here that's excited for this. How is Brooklyn Steel? I know it was talked about on here but can't remember the general consensus.

No New England date?? Whyyy
It's looking to be just a small batch of shows. I'm hoping they are testing the waters for more later. A case could be made for the lack of Boston/Philly/DC-ish area shows.

Outta the loop on this band but Brooklyn Steel is good. Entry was pain free. Easy to grab beers and use the bathroom plus a coat check that will hold your merch. The sound was good but I was way up close so I don't know how it is throughout. Don't try to go upstairs unless you're VIP or into getting yelled at.
The one note I would make is that the 7 wasn't stopping at the closest stop after the show let out. I just grabbed a Lyft because I couldn't figure out what bus to get on.

Thanks! It's doubtful I'll be upfront, Old man and all. I'm guessing it's a bit larger then. As long as I'm not walking into a backroom to sweat it out with a 100 people.
You probably know of a few residual bands that came out of them. Most notably American Football and The Promise Ring. This was young and dumb but o' so much fun to see live.
Katy Mae, I just got an enthusiastic "FINE" for Brooklyn. If you're in the country and all.

Oh yea it was a big venue. They can configure it multiple way to seat between 1200 and 1800 people. Definitely plenty of room in the back. The back of the main floor is raised so you can easily hang back and still see easily.
And thanks for this! Will check them out this afternoon.
Pixies just added a bunch of dates. Mitski, Sunflower Bean, Orwells, and Whitney are all better than Public Access TV, wish I would've gotten one of them instead.

Not crazy about the $36 price tag before tax & fee, but doubt I can pass on the Friday show in Asheville. Phantogram was pretty impressive on the Coachella web stream.

Why are they still not coming to NOLA?!?! UGH. And that tour ends way too early for them to be a Voodoo fest contender. Sad Vieux.

Theyll still be touring into September, just in Europe, but I don't see why they couldnt end the tour at Voodoo.

Feel you! They are skipping south florida again as well......
I don't understand why they have New Orleans on October 19th for the 40th anniversary show when they are playing here this weekend at One Eyed Jacks. I had that blue sky "X" pop up as an ad banner on something the other day which is where I got they were playing at Champion's Square. But X is a band that probably pulls in 500 people, not 7,500 unless they are coming back as part of a larger show I don't know about yet. I still doubt it. Wait, It's The xx, not X. X is playing this weekend.
