Now what I came to post: I had tickets in my cart for the MMJ Chattanooga pre-sale and PayPal failed me by losing my session. I now need to try to buy tickets on the venue pre-sale tomorrow. I just pushed back a meeting with 6 other people so I could be at my computer at 10. #priorities
Is anyone coming to Asheville?
If I get the job that I interviewed for today you can count me in.
It would put me in Bristol full-time, only a 90 minute trip to Asheville.
Oh hell ya. And thanks to monster for that presale tip, just got my ticket. Decaanter assuming you saw this? I see there's a MN date.
Oh son of a bitch. I don't live in Minnesota anymore. That said, I'll be in New Zealand for that date anyway, so I couldn't even go back to visit if I wanted to.

shuck I don't know who the hell half these bands are that you post, but I always look to see if there is a Nashville date.
He makes em up. Hes smart enough not to put a Nashville date to keep you off the trail.
This is very true. I met Sampha in a back alley behind a Minneapolis bus stop and paid him 20 bucks if he allowed me to use his name here and never reveal my secret that I just throw out combinations of random words along with a bunch of dates/cities on this thread in order to boost my post count.

I knew it. Makes so much more sense now to why none of these have New Orleans dates either.
J Dilla Tribute Announced For Brooklyn Comes Alive Brooklyn Comes Alive is rounding out their diverse supergroup formations with A Tribute to J Dilla. Led by Break Science’s Borahm Lee, the tribute will run deep in the roots of hip-hop with fine-tuned artists, drummer Adam Deitch (Lettuce/Break Science), guitarist Adam Smirnoff (Lettuce), bassist Nate Edgar (The Nth Power), keyboardist Stu Brooks (Matisyahu), and more. Brooklyn Comes Alive looks forward to honoring the beat master with some of the most creative players to date. Brooklyn Comes Alive will span three of Williamsburg's most popular venues - Brooklyn Bowl, The Hall at MP, and Music Hall of Williamsburg - all within a 10 minute walking radius. This year’s artist lineup includes members of Dead & Company, The String Cheese Incident, Medeski Martin & Wood, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Trey Anastasio Band, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Lettuce, Soulive, Snarky Puppy, Dopapod, and so many more (see below for complete artist lineup). Inspired by the vibrant musical communities of Brooklyn and New Orleans, this unique event puts the focus on the artists, bringing over 50 musicians together and allowing them to create their own groups and concepts. Additional supergroup formations and special sets will be announced in the coming weeks. Purchasing a ticket to Brooklyn Comes Alive grants you access to all three venues: Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg, and The Hall at MP. Wristband-holders may come and go amongst the venues throughout the event. Music starts at noon with a special brunch at The Hall at MP by Michelin Star chef Michael Psilakis. After brunch, Brooklyn Bowl and Music Hall of Williamsburg will open up in the early evening, and all three venues will remain open all night long. For more info and tickets, click here. Seeing Explosions in the Sky tonight in Columbus. Yall seem to love them on here so I decided why not.
Yeah, if you haven't seen them before, they're pretty great live. I've been lucky enough to have seen 'em twice. This year's set is in my Top 5 2016 for now. They don't dance around or talk much, and there are no gimmicks outside of good lights. They just play. And they don't play encores because they always said they didn't want to leave anything on the table at any show. So what you get is what you get.

I've been sulking the last few days because I thought the one damn time Nicolas Jaar was going to come to Atlanta I would be in New Jersey for my close friend's wedding.
BUT THEN I REALIZED... the wedding is on Friday. Nico is on Saturday. I can easily get home in time.
