At This, That, and Other, the fenced area at far stage right (where the appropriate pass-holders enter the viewing area) is actually the way we get into the photo pits now. Last year, after shooting, I just left the pit and hung out in there.
As an aside, 3 songs/15 minutes is always open to artist interpretation. Umphrey's McGee let us stay down front as long as we wanted last year. For Stevie Wonder in 2010 we got 60 seconds....heh.
I didn't shoot Stevie Wonder, but I would have been pissed had the ushered me out after 60 seconds. That's hardly enough time to get a bunch of quality shots.
