Ya'll folks need to get the new Freddie Gibbs and Madlib EP. Even though it only has two tracks with them both and just a couple of instrumentals, the two collab tracks are killer.

DMX, Eve and Cassidy just canceled the Ruff Ryders Reunion Tour in Chicago. Maybe they will try to book individually at festivals. DMX would be fantastic as long as he laid off the crack before the show.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chiddy Bang back on the farm this year. Their debut album Breakfast drops in February, and they've released two songs already: Ray Charles and Manners, both are solid but I expect a lot more from the other tracks.
Chiddy's flow is undeniable, and with Xaphoon's sampling range and mixing you never know what you're gonna get. They had everyone dancing last year, and I love how Chiddy freestyles at all his live shows, that's something rarely seen in hip-hop today. I would definitely be excited to see them on the lineup again.

Why does anyone listen to Mac Miller? Can this be explained coherently? Or do I have to slam my face into a cinderblock a few times before I can "get it"?
realistically who i think we're gonna get. not exactly who i want but what i think we might get.
Drake Black Star Mac Miller Das Racist Asap Rocky Stalley Yelawolf
I agree that most of these guys have a really good chance of being on the lineup. After last year, I'm not assuming anything about Black Star though. I am crossing my fingers for Danny Brown too but I don't think he has a good shot.

I seriously only thought he was big in Pittsburgh. I personally cant stand him

His album was number 1
And I only thought he was big in Pittsburgh for the novelty of someone rapping about all this stuff in Pittsburgh. Hmmm Im confused people actually enjoy his music
So was Katy Perry and Milli Vanilli, and both of their music sucks as well.
I don't see how a #1 album is relevant.
Its relevant bc they said that they thought he was only big in Pittsburgh. Cant only be big in Pittsburgh to have a number one album. And he isnt signed with anyone so he has to be doing something right

He appeals to the college demographic HUGELY. Everyone listens to his stuff and I think he has a few good tracks but he isn't the next Eminem. He raps about smoking weed and hanging out with his bros.

His live performance is really bad though.
His live show wasnt that bad, definitely wasnt the greatest but i was impressed when he brought out his guitar and did some covers of Oasia, Nirvana, and other 90's rock
Multi-platinum recording artist (arguably the most important figure in hip-history when considering his personal recordings, rags-to-riches mogul story and his mainstream crossover ability) doing a guitar song after being singled out by another artist at a "guitar festival".
vs.
White boy who wraps about weed, his bruhs, and college BS whipping his guitar out at a hip-hop concert to play songs that were written when he was in diapers to seem unique and cool.
Someone needs to sick Ghostface on this kid, immediately.
