Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
wow. they cannot help themselves... hahah the pre-sale starts FRIDAY!?! dude I haven't been able to even make any money yet since bonnaroo what the holy hell
Thinking about it a moment more, it's kind of terribly unfair - some of the most dedicated roo'ers are your middle income, hard working types, check-by-check folks. This is like a wide-gapping hole for those that make a lot and then get a cheap cheap ticket... kinda grinds my gears if pre-sale sells out before August. (oof see it ends on July 1st anyway)

I want to buy a ticket but I don't even know what I'll be doing next year (in terms of work and things like that). Plus....I really dislike getting a ticket without a lineup but it's Bonnaroo and I know that I can find lots of great stuff I don't know about yet.

IMO, buy a ticket pre-sale. First, if you do wind up going, you've got the cheapest ticket possible. Save you anywhere from 20-70 bucks, right? Second, if you can't go, you'll have an easier time unloading it, since you'll have the cheapest ticket on the market.
Once again.....making total sense Juggs. I just hope they don't sell out before I can get the money together. Not sure I want to do the payment plan.

Thanks Juggs, I didn't think of it this way, I just started freaking that I just finished paying for this year. I'm gonna go ahead and buy one. The price is really good.
I'm a little disappointed in this. If they would of waited a couple weeks I could seriously consider this, but there is no way I have the money right after roo. I would totally love to take advantage of the payment plan and hell, I'd even consider vip.
I get paid tomorrow ill get a ticket Friday. Who knows what I will be doing in a year hopefully I will be able to make it back to the farm. If not it seems easy enough to resale the ticket
No way am I buying a ticket presale after the 2010 lineup.
I think this is pretty Leno-y. I love Bonnaroo, but I need food and a place to live while I'm not there. Can't I have at least a quacking week?
The Gospel according to common sense - can i get an Amen

Really wishful.
There's a solid chance that Radiohead plays next year, but I'm not counting on it and dropping the money now when I have other concerts coming up in the near future.
I sell a lot of tickets on stubhub nowadays (only way I can unload baseball tickets from a package) and they do make it really really easy. If you can find a way to do the payment plan you almost cannot get burned with the price at $209 if you need to sell later.

Didn't they say payment plan would be 10 easy payments of $25? Wouldn't that make it $250? And I'm not sure if that's before or after fees.
I think the pre-sale tickets are $209 plus fees but the payment plans may be more? Anyone know?
If the payment plan is really $209 + fees then that would be the way to go for me. If the payment plan ends up being around $300 then it might be easier just to wait.
EDIT: Yup.....looks like $209 is just if you buy the ticket in full. The payment plan works out to about $304. You pay 10 payments of $25 and then the fees.
Let me put it this way - I'd rather pay 209 now, and have to unload it at face or even at 10-20 dollars less at a later date if the lineup is just godawful, than have to pay 230/240/290/whatever for a full-priced ticket. Odds are that the lineup is going to be good enough to justify it - hell, even in 2010 I think the lineup justified 209 bucks. You take a gamble on a couple dollars to reserve your place, and potentially save many times that by going in early.
See my problem is that I just paid for Mountain Jam and Bonnaroo and still have bills to pay now that I'm home. I don't have a ton of expendable money as I kinda live paycheck to paycheck at the moment so I don't think I can even afford the $209 (plus fees) all at once.
Doing the payment plan would be easier for me.....but in the end may be more expensive than if I wait for the lineup and actual sale of tickets. This year I paid $267 for my ticket (right when they went on sale, after lineup dropped) and the payment plan would be about $304.
