Wow I can't wait! Soooo excited. Those picture's make me so happy that we jumped on the vip tickets. And Im sure they don't even come close to conveying the experience. Thanks for posting them.
@ Holls Those pics are awesome! I am getting so excited to be back on the farm VIP style. Do the Chairs fill up fast for headliners?
YES! Chairs can fill up fairly quickly...especially for the headliners when folks perch themselves on the Hill for both sets.
I cannot even begin to describe the magnificent view you'll behold during the main headliner set. From the Hill, you'll look out over a sea of people and lights. It will look like a small city!
You'll have one of those moments where you think, "Wow, this is bigger than the entire population of some small towns! If only everyone in the real world could get along peacefully the way we're all getting along right now." Then you'll smile, savor the moment, and realize all the hassles it took to get you to the Farm - all the traffic and gate searches and heat and whatever else - made that moment all the more enjoyable. And periodically throughout the year, you'll conjure that feeling to help you get thru until the next time you're sitting there on the Hill.
Experiencing that feeling is indescribable...but hopefully you've got a better idea now. You'll feel it yourself now in just 100 days!!!
Take a look at this. The hill is in the upper right corner. You can zoom in and see the chairs, the beer tent, the restrooms (black trailers), and me and my wife.

This will be my 1st time doing VIP and I am sooooo excited!!! I have done GA only and am so looking forward to spending more time watching music and meeting people than walking back and forth!

You'll definitely put a lot less wear and tear on your feet by going VIP. And if you want to go back to your campsite and grab some lunch or dinner, you won't have to miss a ton of music. I love it - and am going again this year.
hey guys, im a long time lurker but i just signed up. thanks to you guys in this thread im doing VIP this year...this will be my 5th roo, 1st VIP. beyond excited. thanks for all the good info!
An anomaly? That looks like the Which Stage bleachers. In fact, the image looks like a merge of the crowds. This is some creative Photoshopping, but with visible inconsistencies. (WTG, "Eagle Eye" - nice spotting!)

guest passes didnt get me anything last year, it wasnt til Sunday til i convinced the guy at the bleachers that i was in fact allowed on them with the vip folks.
my crew was between VIP camping or GA RV. Ultimately we chose to do GA RV, which will cost almost the same as VIP camping. What it came down to for us was, all the amenities in VIP don't make up for no AC sleeping at night. This was the deciding factor, with AC we can all sleep in, cause as you know once the sun hits your tent you are up.
VIP RV just became too cost prohibitive for the group.

;D I'm so glad I found this thread! Every year has become harder and harder to endure Bonnaroo. As much as I love it, the experience was like a test of endurance, that and I'm fair skinned and got the worst burn on my face 2 years ago, so knowing I would have shelter and still enjoy the shows, and not be stuck in a line for an hour+ is so relieving. I can't wait to meet all of you VIP folk. See you next month!!! This will be my 9th time seeing Radiohead! I'm so so excited!
Thanks for the pictures, especially the "360" ones, they give you a great perspective on the setup. I saw those What bleachers \in the other pic as well gigapan.com/gigapans/80053/ and am not sure if VIP has access to them. I figure they're not VIP but can anyone confirm?
