Since he lost his job post knee injury, my husband is trying to make a go at being an Internet reviewer. His show is called Movie Misperceptions and he plans to make the opposite argument for or against movies that are generally considered good or bad. I really proud of what he's done with this first episode. The next episode will be on Return to Oz.
He's having a lot of fun with it, and there's actually a glimmer of hope that this could turn into something that produces income. He's been getting a good response on the That Guy With the Glasses forums. That Guy With the Glasses and Channel Awesome is a website run by Doug Walker. Doug started the site with his Nostalgia Critic character and now makes 6 figures from ad revenue on the site. He does a big charity fundraiser every year and pays to fly other reviewers in to make big episodes once a year. Many other reviewers on the site make enough money to quit their day jobs. It's a true Internet success story. I think he's talented enough to make this work.
What other ways of making money are out there on the Internet? Anyone on this board have any experience with web series?
There's a ton of ways to make money on the internet. I have a website that is bringing in around $900 a month from Google Adsense ads. I'm also making about $20 a month from being an Amazon affiliate. I plan on creating a web site empire by purchasing about 100 domain names. After designing and marketing each website, they should each make between $20-40 a month or about $2,000-4,000 total. Here are my favorite websites that will show you how to make money online:

I agree that Wayne's World 2 (started to write WW2, but that threw the whole context way off) was underrated, but I can't watch the vid right now at work. So you just got 2 hits off of me.
He redesigned the website and has continued to post videos on a biweekly basis. He had a class with someone who is the program director for the St. Louis area's biggest and oldest convention and scored a panel spot to promote the show and is now featured on a website that is a collection of other reviewers. (NOT thatguywiththeglasses.com, unfortunately)
