Hi, this is my first VIP experience and it is starting out as a disaster. I planned on getting VIP from the beginning. I called before I got my ga tickets and asked if I would be able to upgrade when I got the extra funds. They said of course. I get the money, call to upgrade, and they tell me NO! After complaining and complaining they said they would look into it for me. I called again one week later and they said no, sell my tickets. I thought it was so stupid for them to tell me to sell them. I just moved back into my parents house, get home to find my ticket to sell it to a guy on "craigslist". I find out my Father didn't see a ticket like he normally does, so he THREW IT AWAY! You have no idea how much that just shattered my heart, this was after it was announced VIP was sold out. So I call again and I'm crying(literally) the guy says he's going to take care of me and says he will get me the VIP upgrade. I felt so much better. He says they will call me back in a day or so, and if I can't upgrade they will send me another GA ticket with no problem. Friday I get an Email saying my request had been denied for upgrade. I was furious. I call first thing Monday and try to get something worked out. They're going to call me back and let me know. So last night I checked to see if VIP tickets were still available, because even without the price for my ticket I would have enough money to buy the VIP package. I get up and go to buy tickets and VIP is now sold out. I felt like Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons in season four "I Love Lisa." My heart literally broke enough. I called and talked to the ticketing support team for like the tenth time in two weeks. I was so angry, I felt like they really screwed me over. I've been waiting and waiting to hear something. They never let me know and it sells out. Would anyone else be mad in my situation? That isn't really my question. My question is, I'm really thinking about buying on stub hub, do you get the t shirt and poster when you get there? Or do they mail it to you? If I'm going VIP i want it to be true. I'm kind of scared to buy on there? What would you guys do? Wait to see if they'll let me still buy "the last pair" of VIP tickets or roll the dice with Stub Hub? I hope I don't seem like an ass or anything. If all goes well I look really forward to making friends with all of you in the Super Cool VIP areas, including but not limited to the camping. I'll be in a red Silverado with St. Louis Blues stickers and Illinois plates. Thanks for reading. Please let me know opinions, opinions, and more opinions.

Confusing. What are they doing about the garbage-filed "ticket"?? Do you mean wristband? If they'll replace it at will-call for ya, just do GA camping and stop freaking about V.I.P. Come see how us common-folk live.
It's very confusing. And I get aggravated easily. Especially when they treat me as if I'm a child on the phone which causes me to use profanity. And that gets me no where. I'm just going to buy o stub hub. I'm done goofing around with it. I've done regular general admission 4 different years now. Time to try something different. I love and will always love the GA, all but the sometimes 40-60 minute walks to get to centeroo. Last year I got lazy and was taxi, taxi, taxi. I just wish someone can answer my question. Do you get the poster and T shirt in the mail or when you get to the grounds? Sorry, if I worded it a little wrong in my first post.

you get the poster and t-shirt on the grounds. usually around the time they're giving you that free beer and food on thursday. I was sent an email a couple weeks ago asking what size t-shirt I needed, so maybe ask the stub hub person if they did this. Also, VIPs are sold in pairs. there are threads that address this you may look into.

This really doen't add up. Are you telling us yr just gonns eat that GA one and buy a VIP from Stubhub?? Can I climb the fence into yr yard and pick from yr money tree??
No. No. No. I'm selling my GA tickets.(wish me luck) I'm waiting for my replacement to come in. I already sold my friends ticket today on craigslist. And yes, My Dad threw away my ticket. I had to leave to calm down. I was literally in "kill" mode.

Thank you so very much. I was panicking about that. I have a really bad anxiety disorder if you couldn't tell. but bonnaroo makes me feel great. So it works out great. And FREE FOOD! I'm so pumped. Not much on beer. Especially in that weather. I had one of those Malt Liquor Lemonade things last year and just one messed me up.
