Greetings my fellow Camp Inforoo VIP 2011 goers!! Hi
Alrighty folks, I am thinking this is the final list. Please, please, please make sure you are on it and you have received a test email from me. I sent out what I believe are the final three emails on my list today. If you are not on this list, I don't have your info and have not planned a spot for you in camp. Please send me a PM if you have not received an email from me since signing up here.
The Official Log Of Mike D's Official Camp Inforoo VIP 2011's Official Members . . . . YEAH!!!
Caseydog - STILL NEEDING HELP WITH A RIDE THURSDAY EVENING FROM NASHVILLE AIRPORT
mcparkfan77 will be hanging out with Inforoo VIP for perks but camping in GA - hence the .5 we have on the number of members ;D
VIP RV's - I have had this smiley for way too long and finally get to use it
campcrew iSkew & Sassbox & Bamabelle
As of today we have 80.5 VIP inforoosters in 42 vehicles.
I have the sub-groups/parking almost finished up.
The quiet group (by quiet I am referring to those who specifically said they will not be raging all night and want to get to sleep a little earlier, not volume levels)
Dreamingtree - 2 cars, 4 people JHo - 1 car, 2 people ktmtfl - 1 car, 2 people Druid - 1 car, 2 people Sunfox78 - no car, 1 person cneintn - 1 car, 2 people crazykittensmile - 1 car, 2 people
CKS is there by default due to sharing supplies and coolers with JHo. This can be changed though.
Now, I do need some creative thinking from yall. I need ideas for our sub-camp names/groups that involve a disco theme. Camp Studio 54 is one, but I don't know crap about disco other than it made great music for late night adult movies. What I am doing is grouping together 6-8 cars based on your requests for each group. Now please know that we are all one big happy inforooing family, but breaking this down a little bit will help.
I have accumulated roughly 384 PM's since I started this little endeavor and there is one thing I have lost in the mix, who is going in Wednesday and relocating with us once we arrive at the gate? I only recall 2 groups, but I haven't found them in my PM's yet. If you are one of these folks, please let me know.
Unless you hear otherwise, we will be meeting at the Food Lion again this year. Plan to arrive there around 8:30-9 AM on Thursday. We all need to do our best to have everything we already need and not have to run in of possible.

How about Proto-Disco for the "quiet group" - this referred to the first disco song (thus the reference to the folks who want to go to bed "First") - or Soul Makossa which was thought to be the first disco record.
FTR, I am part of the quiet group but I won't necessarily be going to bed "early" each night; I will probably be out at the Late Night shows. But when I do return to camp, I need my beauty rest or I am the most unpleasant person you will ever encounter.

I think Camp Night Fever is great - and I'm with you, won't be going to bed early, but need beauty sleep when I do get there
We were going to try and enter on Wed., but the stuff we were sent explicitly states that we are to enter Thurs. a.m. I see little utility in chancing it.
Something with Boogie in the name. I missed the disco craze by a few years...
Quick question? How do I get my RV hooked up with the RV folks? I'll take that order of RV to-go please :-)
For disco...not that I'm old of anything...but
Camp Night Fever (said above...is a must)
Boogie Nights Camp or Camp Boogie Nights Camp Dancin' Queen Camp Fruit Basket (does anyone else remember being taught disco moves...to pick the fruit out of the backet...? I'm just sayin' - or so I heard :-) )
You can hit groups that worked it hard then, such as Donna SummerCamp, Camp BonnaBeeGee, Camp Ymca, Camp RooTravolta
BSC - or 'Black strobe camp' (or maybe BonnaBlack Strobe Camp) could have strict lighting rules, like only black lights lit between the hours of 9-11 PM
Camp 'Do the Hustle'...that song will never get out of your head now that I've mentioned it...watch...hmmm hmm hmm, do the hussstle...
and finally
Camp BwomChikaWomWom (and I'm guessing since most of the young folks with me only know that one phrase from the Disco days...) and Camp 45 (in honor of the 45 records from the days of yore) - not to mention, we could modify the song Colt 45 to Camp 45...with two zigzags...but I digress...
Yeah...a long long work day and work week here - had to add my two cents...and a couple of quarters as well.
Too much trouble to ask to replace the icons above, but I did find emoticons to represent my posse!
and yes, I'm simply delaying the hours of additional work I have right now...thinking of two weeks from now as I'm sitting on the hill, margarita in hand (and 5 in the camelbak), chillin to some tunes on stage...
I literally am counting the seconds til I meet you guys!!! I love "Panic at the Disco" for the Noobs! haha I was wondering, does anyone have ideas for decorating a tent?
Since I'm not the driver in the group, I don't want to obligate us, but Pigpen can contact iSkew about coordinating on the RV thing. I'm not sure if they're pre-assigned or if we can roll in together and request two next door to each other.
I'm a long-time lurker who's headed to his third 'roo this year (2004, 2008) and I'll be in VIP for the first time with two friends. We are hoping to at least meet up with the Inforoo Disco/VIP crew. I sent Mike D a PM, but I figured it was only right to at least introduce myself as well.
Eric and I will be leaving from Philly on Wednesday afternoon, driving through Pittsburgh to get Paul, and pretty much overnight to Manchester. Like always, we're just hoping for unseasonably cool and dry weather.
Alrighty folks, I am back from Camp Reggae and have phone service and internet access again. I will be working on finishing up this tonight. I get several PM's and emails from over the weekend that I need to go through. One thing I would like to see yall do is put a picture of your flags in your avatar or signature so others on here will know what to look for to find our camp. We are at 40 cars and 80 campers in our group.

Also, are there any particular concerns that yall have that I need to address?
My biggest concern is all 80 of us getting in together. I know VIP is different, but we had the tollbooth Nazi lady in GA last year who yelled at me (almost made me cry) and wouldn't let me wait for the ONE other car in our party, much less 40 of them. Anyone else worried about this?
^ WHAT?!?!? who's gonna join me on our Starbucks runs?!? *sniffle, sob*
well, phooey... guess this means we'll all have to head up to Michigan sometime for hay rides & bonfires! good luck with YOUR farm while we party on this one! we'll miss you!!!
I haven't seen any emails from ya lately Mike, just shot you a PM, dont know if I got left off the mailing list or not.
Oh and my flag is going to be the Chicago flag as I'm seen holding in my avatar and which can also be easily Googled. I havent come up with an idea for a flag pole yet. I'm weary about doing one of those PVC deals because it seems like the wind could bend it/blow it over.
Speaking of flags and flagpoles, I saw people with flags inside Centeroo last year. I had a flag draped around me and found a long stick to make a flagpole out of after I was actually INSIDE Centeroo so it worked out...but what is the deal with walking into Centeroo with flagpole in hand?
