Anyone else get Metroid Dread today? im gonna start it once I finish Fusion
Really looking forward to eventually playing Dread, but I am so deep into Persona 5 Royal and Resident Evil 7 I don't have the time for a new game. Definitely plan on picking it up once I finish RE7. Fusion was one of my favorite GBA games back in the day, I would love to play a Switch remaster.

I'm really enjoying it! I'm maybe only two hours into it so far. I could not get into the original REs as a kid, other than RE4, but the remakes of 2 and 3 were great. Its weird going from a very agile third-person perspective in the remakes to RE7's tank controls.
I can't help but feel like I should be playing in VR but I really don't want to spend that money just for a few games. Are you playing VR or standard?

I’m a decade late in learning that my playing style of running around and looking at fucking everything doesn’t serve me well in Dark Souls.
Strangely I’m pretty good at this game despite getting trapped at the bottom of the catacombs at an early level and getting cursed in the depths with 15,000 souls and no clue how to escape. I survived both times by going full sneaky coward mode.

Long shot, but does anyone have a GPU you're not using you'd be willing to sell? I'm building my first gaming PC, got pretty top line everything else but can't find even a middling GPU for less than double MSRP. I'd like to buy a 3060 eventually, but can't stomach $900 for a $350 unit. The integrated graphics on the i7 will at least make it a useable computer, but even an old graphics card will help it at least play some Civ

I've been using a gtx 750ti in my gaming computer with an i4 since High School and it literally still runs like a dream

Kyle said good luck. The storage on those are for real right now. He suggested going to a microcenter, they have some in Texas and two in Georgia; so maybe someone here could help you out.
As per Kyle: Micro Center for the mid-range graphics cards they might just have them in stock regularly but for high-end graphics cards they tend to do like a raffle type system.

Holy fucking shit I just walked into Best Buy, talked to an employee for a couple minutes, he says "lemme check in the back" and came out with a RTX3060 somebody never picked up. I'm in shock that just worked out so quickly.

Edit: Also, I am going to go off an assumption, but I feel this is probably an example of being decent to people paying off. If you would have rolled in there like a smug jerk, dude wouldn't have found anything magically.

yeah that dude is my hero, he was super cool about answering my questions about the best way to find one and eventually was just like "fuck it, this guy gets it". I was tearing up a tiny bit while he checked me out and he said "I'm really happy for you" and it just broke my heart, I hope he gets a raise or something. I'm assuming the last few months of Karens coming in and demanding PS5s wear on a guy.

I got my 6800 with the belief I’d get a 3080 FE and just sell the 6800. I’ve tried on most every bb drop to get a 3080 FE. At this point I’ve quit, I’m plenty happy with my card.
