Thanks to the discussion around that announcement, I discovered the Dolphin emulator can run Super Mario Sunshine and many other games at 60 fps, 4k, and with HD textures. Now to see if that all can run well on my iMac...
Oh tell me more about this...
I learned today there's been a lot of innovation in the emulation space, especially for the Dolphin emulator running Gamecube and Wii games. Here's Super Mario Sunshine running at 1080p, 4k, and with HD textures:
Do you already have Galaxy and Sunshine? They're both good, but Galaxy is awesome, my favorite Mario.
I dont. Wasnt really playing many nintendo games when they were released so I dont have the connection to them like I do to Mario 64. I did get odyssey with my switch and absolutely love it though so Im sure id have fun playing those as well

My brother has our old Galaxy and Sunshine copies stored away. I LOVE Galaxy. I also love Sunshine. I thought it was odd Nintendo shafted Super Mario Galaxy 2 completely in its surprise Direct this morning, but perhaps they've got more planned for it later. Mario is my favorite video game series; Odyssey was a treat too.
Why's that? Sorry, I haven't had a Nintendo since Wii so I'm out of the loop.
Nintendo games always hold their value
That's for sure. My copy of Galaxy got lost in college (I think someone stole it but whatever), and I looked into buying a used copy and it goes for about 40 bucks iirc.
