Getting back into Destiny 2 after missing the last expansion. I know a lot of people didn't care for Destiny or D2, especially hardcore endgame players, but I'm a more casual player and the gunplay/gameplay is so slick. The sound design also still impresses me years later.
Can y'all recommend any phone games? I have a bit of downtime between Uber fares a lot
I mostly play solitaire lol but there's a puzzle game I've been playing one lately called Loop. Similar game that I used to play a ton in college was called Flow Free. Basically connecting dots or shapes in a constrained space.

For phone games can't go wrong with good crossword puzzles.
I also like build a bridge or something like that (maybe bridge builder?) on my tablet. Not sure it's as good on a phone
Words with friends is a classic
I get tired of and delete any game that forces you to pay real money to continue. I enjoyed Simpsons tapped out for like two days before it told me I can't build anything else until the timer runs out. But the timer could be removed by buying some virtual donuts with real money and I got rid of it

The creators of the Batman: Arkham series are back with a brand new action-adventure shooter. The most dangerous villains in the DC Universe have been forced to team up and take on a new mission: Kill the Justice League. Create Chaos in Metropolis. You are the Suicide Squad.
Bought the Avengers game. Got early access for 72hours so downloading now.
I want it to be good but have no faith, gonna hold off for a sale
Fair enough. It definitely hasn't wowed me like I was for the Spider-man game. But I'm a sucker for big studio doing an avengers game and want to see what the play style is like. Also intrigued by the future characters and how that will all work out. We'll see if it's any good. I rarely buy games new, at full price, so this is a gamble for me.
This is the first one that I actually tried Ultimate Team, so that helps. The Yard is extremely fun too. All the bugs are already announced to be fixed with the next patch September 10th so hopefully it does get better.
It's annoying that franchise is exactly the same but that's just every sports title, and especially EA. I understand the frustrations with the dev team but also it's Madden, and it will always be enjoyable no matter what imo

Thanks to the discussion around that announcement, I discovered the Dolphin emulator can run Super Mario Sunshine and many other games at 60 fps, 4k, and with HD textures. Now to see if that all can run well on my iMac...
