All along I've been thinking oh I'm in VIP I will have plenty of space. Well I went to my parents' house to do a practice run of setting up my tent. They got it for me for my birthday a while back but then "borrowed" it from me and I have yet to use it. Anyways I didn't realize how big it is. It's 9x20 and my canopy is 10x10, and I'm also using their big boat of a car- a chrysler concord. Will I be ok?
It all worked out thanks to our neighbors. My car was so freakin long, it was longer than the space by about a foot. My tent was also just ridiculous. There was no way I could set up the tent and canopy in my space with my car. The neighbors on one side parked on the other side of their spot and said they didn't care if my car was in their space, and my neighbors on the other side brought a beach umbrella for shade so I asked them if we could put the canopy half way in their space and share with them. I think they were as happy about that as I was. Thank god for the kind spirits of the people that attend roo

Given the attitude of Roo goers I'm sure no one is going to mind if you spill over into another spot. especially if you are willing to share that shade
Hey... I too am worried about not having enough space to set up camp. I am going with 6 people VIP in 2 cars. We decided to have 2 10x10 canopies for sleeping and are trying to decide between a 13x13 or 20x20 for a hang out area. We are leaning towards bringing the 20x20 to have enough space for hammocks and stuff. We would obviously share shade with our neighbors if they desired. Do you think we will have enough room for this setup in VIP?
