The Rays always want to make us have heart issues. Houston is playing great. The Rays franchise needs this way more then Houston, I really hope we pull through. Are inexperience is showing through right now. I live a block from the disgrace that is Tropicana, i hope our boys pull it home. Great series from both teams though, may the best win
Lol I actually like the Trop. Granted the only ballparks I've been to are houston two, old Yankee stadium, and trop. But I liked the shape, and we got great seats because the rays weren't that great then I don't think. I saw Price pitching, but Tim Hudson was mowing guys down for the braves
I've obviously been to Fenway. I've seen games at Baltimore and the old Shea stadium.
I've been to New Yankee and New Shea for concerts, and did a tour of the park in SF.
I wanted to go to games at Oakland and at KC when I was out there, but the gf said no. And last time I went to St Pete, I missed Sox at Rays by a few days.
Yeah those scrappy Red Sox with like four hall of famers and a 127M dollar payroll who won three less games than the Yankees that season lol
That was the year ending the 86 year drought. People didn't hate us until later on.
I'm aware the Red Sox didn't win a championship for a long time. I just took issue with the characterization of the second-most expensive team with multiple all-time greats on it as "scrappy". Not being the Yankees is not the same thing as being scrappy. They won 98 games that year and swept the ALDS series they were in, as well as the World Series. They were an extremely good team. Coming back from 0-3 is very impressive, but it's not like it was some miracle that it happened.

Sorry to say the Trop is now the worst since the Metrodome was replaced by target field. But yes parking and tix are a breeze. And they are a quality team. And one of the Rays cheerleaders is in our groop camp. But the Trop is still bad. Although they lost when I was there so I didn’t get to see the dome turn orange haha.

As much as I dislike Hou for what they did, they're definitely a talented team. Just didn't have the pitching this year. I'm sure they'll be back next season. Springer may be gone tho.

All my buddies who follow the show much more closely than I do prioritize Correa over Springer and with Tucker coming into his own and Yordan coming back we should be relatively ok on offense even though we will probably lose Springer, as much as it would hurt on an emotional level.
Definitely need to shore up pitching in a major way.
As much as we won because we cheated, our pitchers absolutely shredded Beli in the '17 series. After that great rookie year it looked like maybe his game was exposed and he could be pitched out.
Drafted him in '18 fantasy and yeah the blueprint was there and he regressed.
He has absolutely come so far since then. He's really good.
