Lakers shedded salary and picked up a first round draft pick. I think they have room for two maxes now, or they can get there pretty easily. They might buy Frye out.
D Wade going back to Miami! can't remember a team - esp a major contender - turning over a roster like this mid-season
well that's debatable.
Also that trade seems so dumb for Utah?? Why would they just give Hood away?
yeah idk really, but seems to be they're handing everything over to Donovan, and at 2.5 games out maybe they would just rather try to bottom out a little more rather than get blitzed by the warriors.
I understand that the Cavs were playing horribly, but are these moves they've made so far any good? I have no real idea. I know barely anything about most of the players they just picked up.

just having Clarkson/Nance v. IT/Frye looked like a net positive on a couple of fronts, Hill and Hood make it much much better, 2 good spot shooters in Hill/Hood, Clarkson can get his own shot (something they've really been missing imo), Nance is one of those high energy super athlete guys (but was having a really great beginning of the season until he got hurt). Clarkson/Nance/Hood are all 25 and most everyone they moved were in their 30s, so even if bron leaves they shaved some years off their bench and kept their good 1st rounder. They did take on a lot more salary than they probably should have, but I've seen people describe it as an investment because if Bron leaves the value of the franchise will drop considerably.
