But I have to say...I really had NO expectations for this year...NONE...NADA...NUNCA....for AU this year. I mean...we hired a coach with a what....2 and 20-something record at Iowa State? Geez!
And yet somehow we are 3-0...something we didn't accomplish last year. Not pretty wins...but wins. I think this young...VERY thin inexperienced (for the most part) team is scrappy! ;D I think they will be the surprise of the SEC West this year. I don't think we will come away with the BIG wins...but we MIGHT pull off a few unexpected upsets...I predict we will beat at least ONE of the teams that no one expects and play spoiler to either LSU, TN, GA or Alabama...yep...I'm calling it NOW! ONE of those will go down to AU this year...at least one! This year's team reminds me of the Terry Bowden team of the what...early 90s? Might have been his first year taking over from Pat Dye....when they were still on probation...couldn't go to a bowl game....maybe had JUST been released to play on TV for the first time in a few years but can't even remember if they WERE televised except in highlights...and they go undefeated! They KNEW they were only playing for pride and bragging rights that year....but they STILL held on and had an undefeated season in the SEC! Yeah...I don't expect THAT out of this year's team...but I think they have enough spunk in them to play the spoiler role in the SEC West this year....
LSU just put up 3 points.......grant it, it was against Florida, the #1 team in the country, but it's not like we didn't have our opportunities..........our playcalling is awful......why do we keep running the f'ing option? Jefferson runs it terribly.....
And I cannot believe there has been no sh*t talking at all with LSU facing Auburn this week. I'm leaving my house now to head out and tailgate, then go to the game. LSU's offense better get it in gear otherwise I'm gonna be cursing quite a bit during the game

^^absolutely, hell of a game. I was super impressed with the way that they played. The offense looked like they may have finally tapped into the potential that they actually have
