I just finished reading I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max. I find it to be one of the most laugh out loud books I have ever read. Tucker Max is just flat out hilarious. His group of friends I think makes the book worth reading though. With characters like Sling Blade and Hate and their misadventures with alcohol what is not to like?
Has anyone else given this book a read? What did you think? What are your favorite stories and characters?
I read this at Roo last year. While I agree that it is laugh out loud funny, I felt the need to cleanse my soul with steel wool while reading it. He is such a reprehensible person in so many ways!!! It's the kind of thing you don't want to read if you are ever going to have daughters. Still, ridiculously funny stuff. Could not stop laughing in spite of every PC bone in liberal arts college educated body.

O ya i know it is really dirty as can be... I think he exaggerates a lot throughout the book but it provided me with so many laughs I do not care if its made up or not... I have a friend just like Sling Blade in almost every way.

I read this. It starts off funny as hell. Before you're half way through you want to see this scum bag die a fiery death. I take solice in the fact that he obviously hates himself and is truly miserable.
I went by myself. I read between sets if I'm waiting at a stage. Also, I tend to get to Centeroo at 10 or 11 in the morning and it helps to kill time if the movie doesn't interest me.
