i definately got the hookup. ive been shutout of the lotto since they created it for the nye2002 show. guess it was due. i actually found a chart after i posted but didnt have time to post back as i had to catch a train to the garden.
shut out for fenway, hampton, mansfield, and the meadows. ouch. 0-6. i only requested singles through the lottery too. i was able to pull third row center for Hartford though so i'm pretty pumped about that.
It doesnt matter. The way it works is it randomly pulls entries and then fills what it can off of that entry based on what is left.
You might request 1 ticket to the first night of Gorge and 3 to the second and I request 3 to each night. It pulls yours first and all day one tickets are gone but you get all 3 for day two. Then it pulls mine and there are only enough for me to get 2 tickets to the second night.
Does that make sense? Its not each individual ticket it is each order and what tickets are left in the lotto.
im in the VIP nation program in livenation. they had a very limited amount of tickets available - not the usual process. anyway, they sent the email and within 10 minutes i put my request in. i wont know until friday night at 8 if i have tickets... but i have to assume i am good.
there absolutely HAS to be an inforoo meetup at this show. i'm going to suggest the boston beer works at the top of lansdown street. lots of beer. close. they have food.
I MAY have the hookup for tickets through a guy I know that has Sox season tickets. But turns out his daughter wants tickets too. So we'll see. Either way, come Saturday I'll be on the phone and online right at 10am.

How does it work at a box office for something like this? Do they keep some tickets set aside that they'll only sell at the box office or are you competing for the same tix as the people on livenation.com?
