Luckily I think I'm too old to be included in the group he is referencing. For the first time I am happy that I feel old. Thank you Kanye. I can now begin to age gracefully. You have added years to my life you warm fuszzy f*cknut.
Kanye would be the voice of this generation but unfortunately he showed up 4 generation late and will be the may be the voice of my great great great grandchildren.

while i am a fan of kanye's music (uh oh!), the statement is absurd, who the heck says something like that about THEMSELVES? isn't that just the kind of thing that goes without saying, or other people say about you, if it's true?! i don't think his filter works... ;D
but whatever, keep putting out those albums i enjoy and stay away from bonnaroo and we'll be cool kanye! (actually i'd love it if he came back and redeemed himself with an insane show, tbh)

If those are the only two choices, I'll go with Timberlake.
We are a small population of music consumer that dislikes Kanye... as far as what's popular, and is really pop culture, and how the whole popular music world has turned into a daily visit to TMZ, he may be the best representation of our generation, right now.
And I don't mean that in a good way.
But the actual voice? Go choke on it, slapnuts.
He pretty much embodies what I dislike most in our current culture, and I don't think I need to go into details, as most everyone here knows what I mean.
??? I'm baffled that he would think that. All Kanye is is a somewhat talented musician, and not a good one at that. He may be the voice of the MTV generation, but as we all know, MTV is on its way out. All Kanye talks about is how great he is. He is unremarkable in terms of his opinions. In regard to "the voice of this generation", I see Barack Obama being it, if he continues to remain popular.
