Who else is stoked for Death Cab's return?
They ended up being the most surprising performance in 2006 for me. I went in not expecting much and got blasted with loud music and good vibes and good energy.
You think they will do another sunset set this year?

They were amazing in 06! Literally the best time I've ever seen them. They really catered to the Bonnaroo crowd and I expect them to dominate yet again this year!
I really hope they play the same timeslot. It was perfect. I remember during Transatlanticism, my life was literally just perfect.
I've seen them twice (once at Roo in 06 and then in November of 06)...they rocked both times. I really like the stuff off their new album, too. Looking forward to their show.

i love death cab, probably one of my favorite bands, but anyone who went and saw them in 2006 was crazy, oysterhead was playing at the same time for christ sake! but i dont see anyone really conflicting with them this year, so i will definitely be catching their show.
-new song ( i will possess your heart) is the shit, i cannot wait to hear the other new material

With their spot on the bill, I see them being the act that overlaps with Jack Johnson's headlining slot on Sunday, the way the White Stripes did with Widespread last year. Should make for a good way to close Roo for many DCFC fans.
Definitely one of my favorite bands from the past decade. I've seen them a half dozen times over the past 7 years, but I'm still as stoked as ever to see them at the Roo. I'm hoping for that pre-headliner spot as well. Maybe sandwiched between Plant/Krauss and JJ.

Yeah I can't believe I missed Oysterhead, unfortunatly 2006 was the year I realized the GREAT music in the world. and i didn't know Oysterhead until way after Bonnaroo. I also missed Moe. and My Morning Jacket that year. you can E-mail me a kick in the face if you want.
I like a few of their songs. Last time they played on the Which Stage, and I hung around outside the Broo Tent and rested and listened 30 minutes of their set. Very relaxing and a good memory.
