so one of my friends is getting married the first weekend in may. its going to be a smaller ceremony in a rose garden, and she has said that the "theme" more or less is vintage, and that we should dress in semi-formal attire.
i have no idea what kind of fashion or looks this entails, so any help would be appreciated. she said that the wedding party is mostly made up of 30's and 40's type attire, but that's about all the direction she's given.
i keep thinking about red lips and high waists and big curls. fashion history class FTW!

no need to go out of your way, but if you could find some pics on an image search, or just give me some key words to search, it would be helpful just to see a picture of what i'm looking for.
i know in theory this is a really neat idea... but i'd never do something like that to my wedding guests

haha, well to her credit, its not something that went out on the invites or anything. she was at the crawfish boil we had for a mutual friend, and she said its just a word of mouth thing. i just thought it would be fun.
there will definitely be pictures, though. lots of drunken ones i assume thanks to the open bar! ;D
