Yup, GOTV is back in bridgeport, ct. It was a great place, right next to the ocean. You can chill out and listen to music while sitting right by the water. We found tons and tons of hermit crabs during low tide one afternoon too! Really pretty and great music. They had Dark Star Orchestra, Les Claypool, Bob Weir and Ratdog, Deep Banana Blackout and George Clinton and P-funk last summer.

i went to mountain jam last year in ny and that was great!... not too far upstate either. i'd definitely go back depending on the lineup.

i second gathering of the vibes, i've never been but i've heard nothing but good things and i'm determined to make it this year.

also went to the newport folk fest (ri) in '06 and that was pretty good depending on your taste, much more mellow, older crowd, and i only did a one day ticket to see keller.
