Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i doubt those will be the headliners (other than rage of course). when bonnaroo rumors came out if i can remember 1 out of the 3 was right. i caught a little of smashing pumpkins at live earth and i wasnt too impressed. im hoping superfly has something up their sleve. also on vegoose's myspace they added beck, flaming lips and root to their top friends.....im predicting a lineup tommorow or friday for sure since they said mid june.
rumors are that the lineup is coming out at 4pm today (in 20 minutes). and another leak is Umphreys. Sooo rage and umphreys not a bad start. crossing my fingers for an announcement today
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I am glad that they got on the Battles bandwagon this fast, because I had to miss them for Bonnaroo (they were in Atlanta on that Friday). From the glowing live reviews definitely sounds like a band that I want to see live.
well looks like im the only one that isnt to interested in this festivals lineup this year. i went last year and had an awesome time!! i was soooo on edge waiting waiting for this initial line up only to be....not amazed. dont get me wrong but i hope they add galactic, les claypool, or any cheese side project...and no bluegrass? huh. look like latenight is gonna be the rager for me this year...STS9 all the way.

only band they could add at this point that would make me want to go is radiohead. money is soooooooooooo TIGHT this year, but for radiohead i'd sell a kidney or something!

^^^glad to hear that - it actually makes nothing harder for me
no STS9 but I get Tiesto - so I am happy plus The Black Crowes at Voodoo really did it for me anyway - I would have gone to Voodoo for them alone
Would've loved to see: Daft Punk Iggy & the Stooges performing the album Fun House The Shins Cypress Hill Queens of the Stone Age Public Enemy Michael Franti & Spearhead (missed @ 'Roo) Thievery Corporation STS9 (missed @ 'Roo, saw in NYC; always something new to see) Blonde Redhead Gogol Bordello (saw @ 'Roo, but always a good show!)

!!!Iggy & the Stooges performing the album Fun House!!!
now THAT is cool... but ACL pretty much broke the bank for this year, definitely can't afford a place like Vegas. VERY psyched for my 1st trip to Austin though!!!
I'm with you on the late nights, Canexplain. STS9 and Theivery should be top notch. Hopefully, I will have some energy left over for STS9 on Sunday night. That is going to be a rough one.
Vegoose is the "I'll-Go-When-I'm-Comfortably-Established-Professionally" Festival.
First, it's in Vegas, the biggest money sucking black hole in the universe. A music festival experience in that city must be done right.
Second, the late night shows cost extra $$$ making the festival itself a money sucking black hole.
Third, and finally, it's a stadium festival. I'm from Texas. It's bad enough festivals have fences around the grounds. But entire stadiums. Don't box me in.
I spent less on Vegoose last year than I did Bonnaroo. And last year they didn't use the stadium.
Vegoose is pretty unique. It's like a Fall Tour Bonnaroo on a smaller scale. One of the better festivals I've been to for sure. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend musical get-away.
