Is anyone hitting this up this year? Im pretty sure im going to make the trip up for saturday. Anyone know what this festival is like? Is there a shakedown with vendors? Can you leave and then go back in? What is the vibe like? Any info about this festival at all would be great thanks.
It is an old and famous music fest. I believe this is where Dylan broke out an electric guitar for the first time and shocked (and awed) the staid folksters. He got many bad reviews for it, but then look what happened!
I checked it out and this indeed happened in 1965.
