My mind is having a hard time wrapping around the thought of a woman not leaving a bathroom for 730 days.

have you ever sat in a chair while in shorts or a skirt or something, and then you move to get up and find your semi-stuck?

i imagine its something like that. and if you're sitting in the same place for YEARS, not exercising, yet still eating, i imagine that extra skin would have to go somewhere...

and did she sleep sitting up the whole time??? i just can't imagine that would be comfortable. and if its a phobia of leaving the bathroom, why couldn't she just chill in the tub?? why the toilet??

I told my boyfriend about this and he gave the typical, "WTF" reaction.

It's sad because this woman obviously had medical and psychological problems, and this boyfriend was only supporting them by not getting help.

I'm guessing they never did the deed.. or did they?

i don't know either... eventually though she must have just sat on it continually because they had to surgically remove the seat from her.

Can you imagine being an officer and coming to that scene? Woooah.

And I wonder what made the guy call after 2 years.. in the article he never told them she'd be in there for 2 whole years.

So I don't know, but if they had family or friends wouldn't you think someone would have been suspicious?

yeah, I saw a follow up article yesterday and they're still trying to press criminal charges against that guy Kory Mcfarren for mistreatment of a dependent adult.

They report also said that the lady, Pam Babcock, would possibly have to be in a wheel chair from excessive nerve damage and infection of the open sores from her sitting on the toilet seat.

ooh goodness what is the world coming to? okay, so i haven't read the article or seen a picture of this woman, but was she like pretty large or what?

there weren't any pictures of her, but the article I read showed the mobile home they were living in.

The police said the place wasn't completely in shambles, but the smelly was horriffying- coming from her bathroom.

And it appears she lived in the bathroom for nearly 2 years, and in the last stretch of about a month she just sat on the toilet, and slept like that and such.
